We found this gem recently and have eaten there so many times . It’s actually wild that everything we have ever had is amazing. The country home cooking is the best around. The fried pork chops and chicken are amazing. The pizza is the best around ! They have a little bit of everything!

Small hometown country style cooking. They have a hot bar (not a buffet but kind of like Publix where you pick & tell them what you want & which sides) plus a full regular menu to order from. Good sized salads. Chicken Philly was pretty tasty & fries were good!

It’s not a five star dining experience. Yes they serve you your food in a to-go box but you don’t have to ask for one so that’s a plus. Everything I had was delicious. Just like your grandma cooked it. I will definitely go back when I’m in the area. Please whatever you do check out the dessert case. And did I mention that the tea is what I call family reunion tea. If you know what I’m talking about you’ve been to a family reunion or two.

Very cool place. Not fast food but you do order at the counter and someone brings food to your table. Beautiful varnished wood tables and the food is very good. Small town atmosphere and friendly people.

This is one of those places that only survives because the PoDankTown locals don’t know what good food is. The breakfast was disgusting, everything is overly greasy, like how do you make pancakes dripped in grease. The bacon tastes overheated in a bad microwave, has that radiation taste. And the eggs tasted rotten. Honestly everything tasted like it was cooked in or on stuff that hasn’t been cleaned in 20 years. $13 breakfast I didn’t even eat. Go to the Waffle House right off I-10.

Four times in a row now we’ve ordered from George’s and our order has been wrong! Tonight I paid almost $22.00 for a 10 piece wing dinner with NO SAUCE on the wings and they came swimming in sweet chili sauce. Food is too expensive for me to keep throwing away your mistakes. Our door dasher is always great… delivers in a timely manner, super nice and goes above and beyond to try to make the establishments mistake right, but it is NOT their fault when the aren’t the ones in the kitchen preparing the food or the one packing the order. Door dash should not have to refund something that the restaurant messed up.
