I wanted to try the hot honey pepperoni slice and it was delicious! A big slice for $5. Can’t beat it. I’ll definitely go back and try other things. But these slices are heaven.
UPDATE: I went back today 3/2/26 and tried the chipotle chicken cheesesteak…..JUST GET IT!!! Got damn it’s good!

I have been a Springfield resident my whole life, and this is by far the best pizza I have ever had here, or anywhere else If I’m being completely honest. Also, the Cheesesteak was top three I’ve ever had in my entire life. The staff was amazing, everything was just 10/10. I heard about them from a friend, and boy they weren’t kidding. I think this place has been open less than a week and an hour before close, they were completely packed.

My family and I stopped in for dinner on their grand opening night around 5pm. They had plenty of slices ready for the dinner rush, and there was a steady flow of people the whole time we were there.
We ordered slices, meatballs, a cheesesteak, and fries. The sodas came in bottles, but also had fountain drinks(Coke products). Wow—this is exactly what Baltimore Pike was missing.
Everything was fresh, and the staff was really friendly. Special shoutout to Sergio, the pizza maker, for making my son laugh.
I’ll definitely be a regular!

I ordered The Godfather pizza and Gentili fries. Pizza was an 8/10. I’m not a crust person but this was a crust that I could get behind – crispy outside, light and flaky inside. The sauce to cheese ratio was off, though. The pizza definitely could’ve used more cheese. The sauce was flavorful but overpowered the thin layer of cheese underneath. Fries were 10/10. C&P’s have nothing on these fries, they stole the show. The staff was very friendly, seems like they’re doing well with all of the opening rush – quick service and got my order right. There is some counter seating but it’s limited. Personally I would only do to-go here. The menu is a little pricey but the freshness of the ingredients help to offset the cost. One of the better places in the area, I’ll be back to try other menu items.

I am so happy this place has come to Springfield. Amazing crust , delicious flavor, and a thin crispy bite! Friendly and very professional staff! When I arrived, I noticed there was ricotta cheese on my white pizza and I wasn’t aware that that’s how it came. One of the workers, may be a manager, or even an owner overheard me & quickly made me a fresh one with a huge smile on his face.They made our night! Welcome to the neighborhood!

As someone who worked in a pizza shop for 8 years I have to say- Gentilis is phenomenal.
We order from my work quite a bit, and so far we’ve had the Charlie (a favorite), buffalo, abruzzese, piccante, vodka meatball, and margherita which are all incredibly delicious. We finally tried cheesesteaks today which I must say- win delco. Steak was chopped with no chewy bits, cooper cheese melted perfectly, and it came on a seeded roll that didn’t just fall apart like other places.
Their pizza is made to order, and isn’t that made in a pan crap with dough that sat out all day. Pizzas have perfect amounts of sauce, and cheese on a thinner crispy crust.
They serve slices as well which is nice when you’re looking to try something different.
Prices are typical for the area, but I find the quality is so much better than a lot of others around here so it’s worth the penny.
I hope they change nothing about it because it’s nice to finally have a good, consistent pizza shop with pleasant staff in the area.

Wow, not impressed and that started as soon as I was handed my order!! I was so excited to love this place but like me…it fell short!!! I arrived and hit the I arrived button as I was directed to do in my email! It then stated remain in your car and your food will be brought to you!!!! Well, after being the only idiot to follow that order I finally went inside!! I said to the girl I’m here to pick up order ###, she turned around to the shelf where my order had been sitting! She hands me the bag and I say just so you know it says to wait in your car for the food and she said “yeah IDK why it says that” with not even an apology!! A sorry is free, ignorance can cost you a bundle!! I walked out shaking my head!! Get to the car to check the bag and some loose fries were seen and wouldn’t you know they were cold!!! How long was my food sitting?! My daughter and I had the Game Changer, my daughter didn’t like it and said there was too much honey!! I did find the honey heavy but my sandwhich was not bad! My dependent (wife)had the Lilly Bird and wasn’t impressed saying it was not a cutlet but just fried chicken!!! I thought that’s what a cutlet was but I also have to sleep with her tonight ! After we had to heat the fries I actually enjoyed them!! I won’t be returning to try anything else!!

I can’t say enough great things about this place! Stopped in by chance and will definitely be back. The cheesesteak was absolutely delish and the pizza fantastic. You can taste the quality and freshness of the ingredients and the selection of pizza/toppings was awesome! Really enjoyed our lunch! I also value a place where the owner is front and center, engaging and cares! Highly recommend!

Amazing pizza and a great experience overall! The staff was incredibly sweet and welcoming, and our food came out really fast. The Charlie pizza (pepperoni pizza with hot honey) was a 10/10 — the perfect mix of sweet, spicy, and savory. It’s definitely a must-try if you go. We’ll absolutely be coming back!
