My friends and I had a wonderful experience here. A note – I don’t know how busy it is, especially when students are in town, but the website is horrible and there are no options to reserve a table, so I’d recommend calling for a reservation.
The service was oustanding and I apologize for not remembering our server’s name to praise her more.
Drinkwise, the Limoncello Cosmo is fantastic (although 1 is more than plenty!) The wine list also looked solid and has reasonably priced bottles
For food, the focaccia bread is tasty. The Bruschetta is good as well but comes with 4 pieces so it’s smaller for a group. I would like to try the Tuna Tartare when returning.
I was very pleased with the gnocchi. My wife liked the seafood spaghetti and the chicken parmesan was well presented. The carbonera was not a hit. For desserts, the triple chocolate mousse cake and tiramisu were very very good.
I would stick to the recommendations of the staff, since they have a good knowledge of the food. I would come back to try
the pappardelle and either the panna cotta or creme bruelee. This is a great place for a fancy occasion.

Delicious food, coffee, and desserts, as well as terrific service! The coffee was even delivered in tiny French press coffee pots! We enjoyed the chicken parmesan, spaghetti and meatballs, and the 2 versions of Tiramisu on new year’s eve.

Food and service was excellent. Genovese had a special menu for Valentine’s Day that featured unique shareables. I was hesitant to order the seafood spaghetti, as it’s been hit or miss at other restaurants but Genovese’s version makes you want to return. My flat mat had the giant meatballs for her entree; served in a light red sauce; delicious. Dessert was flan with a caramel sauce, had coffee flavor which I loved. House red last night had a smooth, velvety texture with a vibrant, fruit-forward profile. Excellent owner oversight, impeccable staff performance.

BFF texts me and suggests happy hour. Me: ☺️. She suggests genovese on mass. I’m flummoxed? Really? Where is this, and how did I miss it? Ok. And I saunter off in my little sonic after hubby fixed it (no stupid check engine light on). Rolling along and I find a spot in the free lot-yay!!!! I go in and Haley immediately notices me and is so gregarious and enchanting! I tell her I’m waiting for bff and she offers me inside and outside options. I choose outside and she brings me water and a menu. Bff arrives shortly thereafter and we choose indoors (it’s windy!). Haley arrives in a mili second and we order happy hour drinks. Bff chooses a lemon drop and I opt for a glass of red wine I have coveted (normally 15.00 a glass but today it’s 7.00). Oh heck yah! Super excited! Our drinks are on point and bff has now proclaimed her lemon drop is the best she’s had I larryville! My wine is dust down my throat! Appetizers: meatballs, mussels and zucchini chips. The zucchini chips are like cotton candy slipping down my throat with a touch of fire? Just scrumptious. Meatballs are so tender and moist you will want more and they are filling! Mussels arrive in a broth that surely makes bff and I hesitate and almost ask for more. Their happy hour is from 2 to 5 and I promise you’ll be happy. The bathroom is clean although I’d move the trash can closer to the door so I can toss my hand towel into the can after using it as a door handle wipe. What a quiet and soothing place this is and enhanced by Haley. We’ll be back but only because of her! Lastly! BATHROOM! so clean and updated!

Stopped by one recent Friday night after work and we tried the Tuna appetizer, it was delicious. We also tried the meat cheese board and finished with my favorite homemade pappardelle pasta dish. I order it every-time, cant help it, it’s so good. We will be coming back for the Tuna appetizer as well. Our bartender, Alex if I recall, was great!!! I got the lemon cello cocktail and my husband got something special from the whiteboard which he enjoyed. Afterwords I enjoyed an Expresso martini that was creamy and DELICIOUS!! It was pretty crowded this night but still intimate in it’s own way. Overall experience excellent!!!
Last week my husband and I went to this Amazing restaurant. We sat at the bar like we usually do and were waited on by Haley before she left. She got our drinks out very fast and then turned service over to Alex. She has waited on us before and we had a positive dining experience. Alex did a great job explaining the specials of the evening which included Grilled Halibut and then assisted me with my questions about the homemade pasta dishes. My husband got the Halibut which was a mild flaky white fish grilled perfectly with asparagus and potatoes, he said it was delicious but the empty plate said it all. I chose the Fettuccine Alfredo which was delectable with the tender fresh noodles and tasty sauce. In the past Ive had the Pappardelle Pasta with the sauce that came with it on the menu and with a different sauce. They will accommodate almost anything you want to change (sauce wise) from my experience. We had the Burrata as an appetizer, very delish. Also some other favorite appetizers of ours is the Tuna Tartar and Zucchini Chips. I almost always get the Limoncello Spritz and my husband gets an old Fashioned all pleasurable to the pallet. It was a Wednesday evening and they have live jazz music which is welcoming and cozy. Also the have wine pairing dinners, Cinco de Mayo event coming up. I highly recommend giving them a try!!!

Such a diamond in the rough! Wasn’t quite sure how it would go but our group of 6 were overly pleased by the service, food, and servers! It was a great meal for us all. 🙂

The food and service was good, however, the restaurant is small and dark. Our table was positioned directly in front of the kitchen. We were continually choked out with smoke billowing from the small kitchen. The staff tried their best to air out the place by opening at doors to the establishment, but the cycle continued. The experience overshadowed the delicious meal.

1st time here and it was overall a great experience. the food was fresh and hot.
we got the risotto fritters, a meatball pasta and the Alfredo pasta with shrimp. the shrimp was very good and the meatballs were pretty generous in size.
the Alfredo pasta is made with spinach so the noodles are great and they had a lot of peas in the pasta as well if that matters to anyone.
atmosphere was very cozy. I think we shall return for lunch to try some sandwiches.

Excellent brunch on a Saturday. We were a large group. All were very pleased with their meals. Eggs Benedict and Italian inspired omelets were great. Polenta was wonderful. Keep these folks going.
