Nice place with a supper club atmosphere at the end of a scenic ride. The salad bar was good, the steak was overly salty and fish not so good. We would go back and try this place again with different menu choices.

They were super busy – but that was what we expected at 6 pm on a Saturday. My fiancé and I just grabbed a table and enjoyed a couple drinks (I had the Moscow mule special.). I ordered the broiled seafood with twice baked potato and he had the steak special. I loved mine. He enjoyed his meal. Salad bar was fun as always (say Wisconsin with gizzards on the salad bar!). We were not in a rush so it was fine but someone else could get frustrated.

I had been meaning to eat here for years but never got around to it. What a mistake it was to wait. While the atmosphere was initially a lot to take in with everyone at the bar being quite noisy, we were tended to quickly and even got our table for two within minutes of us arriving. The taco soup was really good, and the salad bar was nicely stocked. I got the prime steak and my wife got the tenderloin. Both were cooked to perfection, and came out quickly. My only gripe is that the twice baked potato wasn’t exactly what you’d expect as it was just mashed potatoes in a dish but they did taste great. The two steaks and added fish, fries, and two deserts we got all came to a grand total of just under $100. All in all, worth every cent. I’ll be coming back again for sure.

“If you’re looking for a great steakhouse and a scenic ride out in the country, this is the place! A great little steakhouse that’s a hidden gem! It’s has a cozy little bar with friendly bartenders and excellent food. They offer a soup and salad bar with plenty of fresh ingredients, which was a tasty addition to the meal. We had the T-bone and the tenderloin—both were cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. Definitely worth checking out.

Do NOT sit at a table in the bar area to eat, you get ignored. We had to get our own silverware from the waitress station and were never even asked/offered a drink!! (we went to the bar and got water, their loss) People at the bar seemed to get great service, locals???

I can’t imagine why somebody would rate this place poorly. I came in after not being here for several years due to moving out of state. I had a fantastic meal with an adult beverage, steak, seafood, coupled with fantastic, accommodating, happy service and my bill was still under $40.
Everybody that was working at the restaurant was friendly and helpful. The bartender smiled, engage me in conversation for a drink, and then got me a table in the dining area. While the restaurant would be considered “simple“ digs by anyone cosmopolitan, the food is superb, presented well, and a tremendous value for what you were given.

Service was ok steak was done correctly and had ok flavor but the quality was sub par at best. I ordered the ribeye and it was tough and full of stringy tenons If you have steakhouse in your name you must serve good steak. When I am spending this kind of money on Steak I expect/demand high quailty. Wife had the Salmon it was sub par as well. The salad bar was average and small. I travel a lot and order steak if I go to a steakhouse, it just sad how hard it is to find quality. Maybe I have high expectations but then again shouldn’t we after all we are paying “professionals ” to prepare food for us. I have no reason to return.

Fantastic experience! Great service from the bartender and waitstaff-everyone was so friendly! One of the best prime ribs I’ve ever had-so tender and seasoned perfectly. Broiled scallops were delicious and larger than most places I’ve had them. Husband’s ribeye was tender and cooked a perfect medium rare. His potato skins were crispy and served with a zippy sauce, really good. Salad bar with two soups and fresh bread at the table. Top notch supper club, can’t wait to go back!

6 of us and we all had excellent meals. Nice waitress and we did not feel ignored. Had a few cocktails prior to dinner, very good and very friendly bartender. Will go back!!
