It was obvious as I walked in and everybody, and I mean everybody, stared at me with no greeting at all. I felt compelled to wave and announce, “Yes, I am stranger!”
If you pay with a credit card make sure you plan on NOT putting the tip on the credit card slip as I was informed they don’t allow that, as well as a $5 minimum. So, i had to buy 2 beers and waste one. I was just waiting for my ride that was later than expected.
I mean it wasn’t totally awful but, I felt very aware that I didn’t belong there. FYI, I’m a traveling bartender for 16 years…. I am extremely comfortable in any bar setting. It is very rare that I feel totally singled out like that.

I stopped in for a quick bite and a beer. They only had nachos. They were ok. They did have some crossed eyed owl lager on draft. I gave that a try and it was very good. It’s definitely a local dive bar feel. The prices were very reasonable. I overheard that they had free pool. I’m not sure if that’s a regular thing.

I’ve been to different places in Decatur and I like Geno’s for the pool beer and great atmosphere and people karaoke is alright I like the karaoke but not the system they have.dj buds system is better.but it’s all good I still enjoyed it

There’s drugs in and out of this place constantly this is supposed to be a bar not a dope house. The sad thing is nothing is done about it. The city and police obviously do not care. There’s fights stabings occasionally smh. Went there a couple weeks ago and there was people in the parking lot doing drugs. They must be paying people off to stay open. This place should be shut down period.

I’ve been craving to this club since 1990 and the service and atmosphere has always been spot on. Until a lady named Barbara Morgan bartends and she’s always on her phone and refuses to hear what drinks we want. Several weeks ago myself and ten of my friends left due to lack of service not to mention she was rude . I’ve never come across anyone like her and we tip very welll.

Absolutely trash. Bartender is rude and it says they’re open till 2am but every time Im there they close around 11:40. What’s the point of even being a bar. Better off just going to Huntsville and staying as far from Decatur as possible

The bartender was so genuine. She made you feel at home. The bar is pretty small but overall it was a cool spot. Especially if you enjoy karaoke.

This bar has been around a very long time, the customers make it feel like home. My coworkers are awesome and so is my boss. They’ve been nothing but loyal and helpful since I started 8 months ago. It’s nice to come to work and enjoy being around the customers and listening to stories being told about how old the building is. Very relaxed bar, plus everyone knows everyone and new people are welcome with open arms.
