I ended up eating here two days in a row because the first visit was that good. Tried the nacho fries and tacos the first time, then went back for the D-bowl, which was the perfect portion. I prefer the beef, but the chicken was good too. Genkiyaki has an interesting mix of flavors, and I’m definitely planning to go back and try more.

A wonderful fusion restaurant with some spicy dishes. I big menu to select from and they have the Death Taco for those who like a challenge. You have to sign a waiver to try it! Staff is friendly, the dining area is nice and the have plugs along the wall so you can. Charge your phone. Lots of parking and plenty of seating.

Everytime I order I ask for well done ninja fries and a side of ranch and they always do it perfectly. These fries are amazing with the sweet beef and onions mixed with the spicy sauce and cheese fries. The ninja and death tacos are great as well. Wonderful service

Regardless of my menu choice, I’ve always enjoyed everything I’ve ordered. Food is always cooked fresh, ordering is simplified with a kiosk, and there’s arcade games to play while you wait (if that’s your thing). Anytime I’m in lakewood during a meal time, Genkiyaki is always on the roster.

That being said, the atmosphere isn’t the same. I waited staring at the walls instead playing the awesome arcade games. The ninja fries are very close to the original and the chicken is much better portion and taste better.

Everything about this place is tremendous. By far one of the best Asian fusion restaurants I’ve been too. Employees were friendly (shoutout to Steven), good music, and obviously the loaded fries and the iconic red bun chicken sandwich were phenomenal. Best lunch spot in the area by a landslide.
