Really great homemade authentic Mexican food. It’s seasoned differently than the other places in town and the tortillas are the best around. Salsa verda is a nice change of pace from the normal chips and salsa and I have had something I didn’t like. Nachos asada were a go to for a long time. Chicken fajita this last time was on point.

Very good! Just wish I could have had a margarita with my tacos . Even a virgin margarita! But it appears it is a very religious place and closed on Sundays and no alcohol. I completely respect that. Very good service and food was fast. Very happy. I can’t wait to come and sit on the patio in the summer.

We found Genesis Mexican restaurant quite by accident. Saw it while driving by and checked out the reviews and decided it was a must go. As others have said, the chips and salsa are top-notch. Really enjoyed the chilaquiles as well and they are served all day! I would absolutely drive into Boonville to give this restaurant a try.

I stopped sort of by accident and feel compelled to share how unusually good the food was. Tragic that there is no alcohol, but I was blown away by the food. I would drive here from Columbia for the flavors! It was excellent. Clearly a talented chef. The seasoning, green salsa, all of it was truly unexpected in an unpretentious little storefront.
