I’ve been coming to Generoso’s for at least 8 years for there delicious pizza slices. So recently I wanted something other the pizza. So orderd there gyro and thoroughly enjoyed it. I was recommended to try their burgers and they are amazing as well.

I ordered a deep-dish pizza with sausage from Generoso, and the experience was a bit different than what I expected.
The pizza was definitely thicker, but it wasn’t a traditional deep dish or stuffed-style pizza. It felt more like a thick, regular crust pizza with a heavy amount of cheese rather than a true Chicago-style deep dish. If you’re expecting something closer to a stuffed or classic deep dish, this might not be what you have in mind.
Overall, the pizza didn’t really hit for me. The cheese was very heavy and not particularly flavorful, and the sausage was a bit greasy and didn’t stand out. The dough was probably the best part of the pizza, but even that was fairly plain and didn’t have much flavor on its own. The tomato sauce was simple — it didn’t make the pizza worse, but it didn’t add much either.
It’s possible this is just a specific style that some people enjoy, and I can see how others might like it more than I did. For me, though, it wasn’t a pizza I’d actively seek out again, especially with so many other good options available. I might consider trying something different from the menu in the future, but this particular pizza just wasn’t for me.

Very good slice. Sauce was good, not sweet. One of the things I like is sauce that isn’t loaded with sugar. Toppings were heavy, but not overwhelming. A good balance of flavors. The crust was thick enough to support the plentiful toppings. The crust was chewy. A little crispness or char would have made it close to perfect, but still a very good slice. The server/counter person was very cool, friendly and helpful.

Awesome experience here. The food was delicious and the staff was so nice. 10/10! Pls get the Chicago style pizza with the buffalo wings. The pieces of fried chicken were good too and fried to perfection. I will be back when i come to Bloomingdale!

Delicious pizza made fresh! Bread sticks came with good flavored marinara sauce. It’s more of a pick up and take out place but we did sit down to eat there. Could use a table inside but they do have a picnic table outside.

Food was good i had better, the slices of pizza was nice and fresh coming out of the oven. I got the slice of the day and i was sadly disappointed in how it was it was tough and hard to chew in places.
Updated: came in and ordered Sausage slices to go. Customer service is friendly and they always ask you you if you need anything else before you go and friendly 8/1 and a pop deal hot and fresh out of the oven
