I ordered the combo with pepper steak and sweet and sour pork. It came with brown rice (I asked for shrimp fried rice). The food was good and hot still when I got home. Sad to say the pepper steak was loaded with cabbage!!! The pork was dry and the pepper steak looked to be old and of course it was tough. This place was highly recommended. It fell flat on it’s face for me. I was really disappointed and really hungry

This is one of those hole in the wall Chinese restaurants that just crank out huge plates of food at very affordable prices. The food is decent. I wish their fried rice had something extra to it but it works for being a very simple recipe. The sweet and sour chicken is good. Don’t expect 5 star quality food from this place but they will fill you up. They are pretty quick about getting your order out to you as well.

Chicken tasted fine. Rice tasted old and reused.
Very much Americanized. Price is fair and portion sizes are fair. Food itself isn’t bad but Felt uncomfortable after eating the food.
If you like Americanized Chinese food this place will be great for you.

We have been going here for 4 years ever since I moved to Houston food has been great until now sent my girlfriend to get food and she always asks for egg soup and this time she found a roach inside her soup. Will never go back here again. I bet this restaurant wouldn’t pass a health inspection. Whoever packed this soup didn’t see this?? This happened 03/31/2025

This establishment has really gone downhill. Been eating at this place over 20 years. The prices have become too high and the quality of the food is suffering. I ordered a C-8 dinner today and paid over $2 what I use to pay. It was very salty and the chicken was dry and hard. And to top it off they buried my eggroll under everything else and it got soggy. Don’t expect a free glass of water here either. They charge for that too.
UPDATE: June 03, 2023 They have finally opened the dining room recently after being only drive thru service for the past couple of years. The food seems to have improved. Very hot and fresh today.
