I am nothing if not picky about my ramen. While I am not a connoisseur, I have had ramen in most major US cities and in areas of significant Japanese influence including Hawaii, SF, LA, etc. So I’m probably a snob. I have visited probably 6-7 ramen shops around the Triangle and this is by far the best combination of food, service, and atmosphere, with a heavy emphasis on food. Their Tonkotsu is umami-rich with the right balance of salt and their noodles consistently have excellent consistency and texture. I have been here 5 times and each time had a similarly good experience. Whenever I try another ramen shop, I have found myself wishing I was here instead.

Honestly, the best bao bun I’ve ever had I think. Definitely in the last year or so. Got the pork belly one, truly just amazing. The tonkotsu was also fantastic. Was eating by myself for lunch, didn’t have to wait to be seated. Staff was very friendly.

Beyond amazing so grateful this place wasn’t packed when I got here cause it should have been! Perfect ratio of broth (one of the richest broths I’ve ever had layered with so many flavors!) to ingredients great service amazing environment! Definitely a hidden jewel up on the hill!

Nice finding Hakata style ramen in Raleigh~
Fries were served with ketchup + sriracha(?) mayo. Thought both the fries & edamame were a touch on the over-salted side, but otherwise delicious!

I did a full review of this place on my Instagram @seri_tag.

All I have to say here is that the ramen was amazing here. Very flavorful and fresh. If you were hesitating… don’t… just go on in.

The best ramen in the Triangle! We recently had the chile lime beef ramen and the vegetarian ramen. Superb flavors. The broth for both is on par with the Michelin star ramen broth we’ve had in Asia. They also offer gluten-free noodles, which were delicious.

The vegan lemongrass ramen is SO GOOD! Probably the best vegetarian ramen around (I add egg to mine). I wish they would focus more on their izakaya offerings, especially since I assume they have the tvs in there to go more with that kind of atmosphere. I wish I could order a little side dish of Japanese pickles to go with my ramen

This is some of the best food I have ever eaten. It was hot. The flavors far exceeded my expectations. The dining area was comfortable and well decorated. Service was impeccable, drinks were filled well before they were empty. The food was prepared quickly and efficiently.

Wanted a nice quick dinner and decided to give this place a try! They have a small menu of dishes, and I got pork bao buns and the chicken teriyaki. The bun was very fresh and the perfect size. The chicken teriyaki was a large portion of delish veggies, rice and chicken. My husband loved his pork ramen. They have a large selection of sake and other bottled Japanese drinks. Service was great, and the restaurant was extremely clean including the bathrooms. Would definitely come again.

This is my favourite ramen place. I don’t care how many people recommend me Iso Ramen, I ALWAYS come here. There’s a nice assortment on the menu, ramen of course, but also tempura appetizers, sushi, and bao buns. There’s also a build your own bowl option so if you have food sensitivities there’s still something for you. I got the spicy miso ramen, and the eel bao bun. The ramen broth was rich and the eel was soft, just like it should be.

Service is always great here. My server this time was named either Evan or Jason? Can’t remember. But he was so polite and attentive without being in your face at all, please give him fat tippage and a raise.
