For a place with “bagels” in their name, they don’t seem to have any type of talent in making them or preparing them. I might suggest a name change to “Yesterday’s” because the bagels you get here are definitely a day old.

Living in Virginia you just don’t get the kind of bagels you need to soothe your soul so whenever I travel North I always have to have one! But this Rocket was fabulous! I was starving and I needed it. If I lived close I would absolutely eat here at a minimum of once a week. And as a Realtor I have to say I just loved the decor! Thanks guys keep up the good work!

No prices for menu items? Shady AF! When asked why there are no prices they said, oh well it’d be ridiculous if we had to do that because prices of cold cuts change. I’ve never once heard this type of dismissal. Kudos for originality, but that along with the pathetically small amount of ingredients in my wrap sealed the deal that I’ll never go back. $12 for a thin skimpy wrap! The girl behind the counter seems to have dumped a gallon of pepper juice into the wrap because it drenched thru everything and was completely soggy by the time I got to eat it 5min later. How do you like your overpriced sogwich? With wrapping and paper bag stuck on you say? No extra charge for that.

You won’t only find friendly service here but also excellent service. My husband and I visited for breakfast. He accidentally knocked his coffee all over the table and floor. They were so kind and didn’t make him feel uncomfortable and came out of the store after us to replace his coffee. Now that is stellar service. They got it going on. Thank you for providing that level of service that you don’t see nowadays.

Vegetarian review: Gems bagels no longer serves fresh jalapenos cream cheese with their bagels. That being said – the bagels themselves area too bit small and has very little cream cheese for the price. This place is expensive.

I came in this morning and let them know I accidentally ordered at the wrong spot for pickup. I figured honesty would help me out. I tried to do the right thing and the lady at the front counter would not let me order. I had to leave hungry, Thanks a lot Gems, you lost an avid customer. I will never be coming back. If you have the chance, check out Sheepsehead Baygels up the road. I went there instead and it’s amazing!

I wanted a Pork roll, egg, and cheese, and I got it. In fact, their “Rocket,” which is a Pork roll, egg, and cheese with a fat hash brown on it, was a fantastic breakfast experience. 10/10
