We stopped by while passing through the area and will make sure to stop by again on future trips!. We tried the Pastitsio with salad and chicken Souvlaki with fries…..wow!!! I want to try the rest of the menu on future visits. It’s a clean casual dining spot. Ordered at the counter and they brought out our order. Everyone was friendly, and the food was definitely authentic Greek cuisine! The meals were reasonably priced and definitely worth what they charged (prob $14 average). I order my souvlaki with fries and was shocked that they seemed to be fresh cut and delicious! The restaurant wasn’t busy when we died in, but they seem to do a good bit of takeout and DoorDash orders if you’re interested.

Never been here before but decided to order a kids meal for my toddler. Store was clean, staff seemed friendly a little thrown off when I first came inside cashier lady rang out my receipt and I see an added charge for a drink. She must’ve noticed my face was confused while looking at the charge and she quickly said “I charged you for a larger drink is that ok or did you want the kids size” I said I didn’t want any added charges and the kid size was ok. I leave and when I open the container the chicken was so slimey and wet and rubbery. I took a bite and the chicken did not taste right. Unfortunately I had to buy something else for my kiddo but first impression.. pretty disappointed.

I rarely award five-star ratings, but this establishment has earned my highest commendation. The food quality was exceptional, and the service was both courteous and efficient. The dishes arrived promptly, maintaining optimal temperature and exhibiting remarkable flavor profiles. I even ordered food to go for later enjoyment. This restaurant is now my preferred dining destination.

Here’s the problem I have. The food is great, but when you walk in the door, there is an assault of Fabuloso chemical cleaner permeating the air. That airborne chemical gets into the food this restaurant serves and therefore the taste of the food. It gets into the lungs and eyes of the customers. It is a poison. I will be happy to return to your great food once you find a less toxic cleaner for your establishment.

Possibly the single best local business in all of Valpo and it’s not even a competition. I’ve come here maybe, thirty times? And have never been let down a single time. The owners are always there and present at the restaurant, they’re friendly beyond and you can tell they love their customers. The food is always spectacular and affordable. Nothing I’ve had from this killer menu has ever been anything less than stellar. There’s a reason near everyone in Valpo knows about this place and loves it. Easily one of my favorite spots to go OF ALL TIME. I hope these guys stay open forever because lord knows that they deserve it. Easily a perfect 5/5 for me and I’d go even higher if I was allowed to.

We tried Geitonia yesterday after hearing wonderful reviews. We ordered the lemon rice soup and lamb gyros. The lemon rice soup was good but the gyros fell short. The meat was more like sausages. I guess we’re use to the gyro sliced thin on a spit. The meat had an overwhelming amount of salt and pepper. The taste was off putting. The taziki sauce tasted like pure sour cream. We originally ordered off of grubhub and noticed an big increase in price. We canceled that and ordered on their website and it was much cheaper. Also, they try to tack on a tip automatically on their website. I do not mind tipping but we ordered and picked it up ourselves.

I had the village salad delivered. Looked amazing but I was a bit upset that a 7 dollar delivery charge and I can’t get utensils or napkins ? The amount of chicken Gyro was very disappointing. It looks like it was a lot but it was just one slice with some crumbs .
The flavor was really good . Feta was good and the tzatziki sauce was top notch.
Overall the flavors were great just needed more meat with the salad .

I am from NWI originally, moved to Arizona 10 years ago and miss greek food greatly as there is truly no authentic greek restaurants in Phoenix. While visiting from out of town, we decided to give this a try and it was amazing/truly hit the spot! I have been dreaming of their lemon rice soup. My whole family enjoyed. Looking forward to returning whenever we are back in the area.

Enjoyed this WONDERFUL dinner tonight. My mom had the lamb gyro with Greek salad. All was on point, great seasoning and plenty to eat. They’re very accommodating with their menu! Don’t pass this place up, you’ll be sorry.

I’ve tried this Greek restaurant twice, and overall the food is a bit subpar. I did enjoy the hummus and pita, and the Greek salad was simple but tasty. The chicken was decent, but the salmon was dry, and the soup and rice both lacked flavor. Walking in, the smell of bleach is overwhelming—it’s good to know the place is clean, but it’s so strong it takes away from the dining experience. I was hoping for a better overall meal, but unfortunately, it just doesn’t quite hit the mark.
