Decent, almost tex-mex styled menu. The food that we ordered was a bit boring. My ribs were okay, but not great. I didn’t care for their french fries, which could have been crispier. I really liked the homemade chips though. Other had burgers and a chicken sandwich and all were underwhelmed. The HVAC system made an annoying low frequency rumble, making it sound like a large truck was idling outside! Just an average restaurant experience.

We came in on Saturday with a large 11u local football team while the FSU game was on. It was busy! The managers Christine and Eddie accommodated our party even with a packed house. Our food was perfect but our server was THE BEST! Dawn had kids tables that she had to keep track of with the parents tables and she did a Beyond Fantastic job! I’ve served before and our bunch is what a severs nightmare is made of. Everyone ordering at different times, drinks needing filled or ordered, separate checks, all of it. She kept calm, smiled, didn’t skip a beat and had everything in order. Hats off to Dawn! She’s a True MVP! We love this Geckos and the management, staff foh, boh and Dawn are some of the reasons why! We always have a great time, the food is always great and we are always welcomed and taken care of! Thank you Geckos!

We enjoy Gecko’s but this is a new location for us. Food was delicious and thrilled they have the half chicken dinner still on the menu. Definitely could be split between two folks there is so much food with this meal! My wife got the BLT and couldn’t believe how much bacon was on it! Tasty!

We frequent this gecko’s often because the staff is kind, the food is great, and they always make our order accurately (which we can’t say for other places). I decided to finally write a review because this past Saturday afternoon we were served by Chris, who made my day with his kindness and politeness! Chris’s customer service and care for every table was fantastic, and as usual our service was quick and the food was great.

I was initially hesitant to write this review, as we had been loyal patrons of the Clark location for years. However, our experience a few weeks ago fell short of our expectations in terms of service and quality, which is not what we have come to associate with Geckos. Rather than posting a negative review at that time, we opted to contact the manager directly. He was very apologetic and offered us a credit for our meal, which we used today, albeit with some reservations. In retrospect, I may have been better off contacting our credit card company to request a refund instead of agreeing to a credit. Our experience with the take-out lunch we ordered today using our credit was equally disappointing. The sweet potato fries had a chemical taste, and the hamburger contained a hard object that could have easily damaged my tooth. The overall quality has been subpar. While we appreciate the importance of supporting local businesses, our experience has led us to decide that we will not be returning.

I visited on Wednesday March 4th just after 4pm to get something to eat before going to a meeting in the area. I was seated at a high table adjacent to the pick up door and the kitchen. I was looking over the menu while at least 4 servers passed by my table. After 15 minutes a guest was seated at a booth near me and within a few minutes her table was served water. A server looked at me and did not come to my table. I then left and told the greeter that no one was serving my table.
Having been to various Gecko locations before this is not the service I expected.

Our Sunday spot for the family to hang out. Laney is absolutely fantastic and we always have such amazing service from her. Food is always great when we go! I do want to make the GM aware this restaurant is always like an ice box for the guess. We always been coats or sweaters to wear. Please adjust temperature for the guess and not the staff. We are not the only people complaining. Laney’s outstanding service is keep us coming back!!
