As a person dealing with Celiac disease, it’s nearly impossible to get good gluten free Italian food. I met Giancarlo at the Eberle Winery when we had his BBQ and he invited us to his restaurant and told us he would make ravioli and pizza from scratch. (I’m not sure they stock GF entrees, you should call the day before and they can make it happen).
While eating, we made the waitress confirm that the pizza was GF, it was just TOO perfect. It was everything a pizza should be. This was the second time in 10 years I’ve had ravioli, and it was the best.
We ordered margherita pizza, kale and ricotta (I believe) ravioli, caprese to start, and the gorgonzola ribeye. It was all absolutely fantastic. The only thing I might change is a little less gorgonzola sauce in the steak. But it was still delicious and perfectly cooked. The light tomato sauce on the ravioli didn’t overpower the light flavor of the kale and cheese filling. The pizza was a perfect italian pizza like my friends cruelly ate in front of me in Napoli.
Despite being short a server, the service was great and everyone was perfectly helpful and friendly, the food was spectacular, and I’m SO grateful that Giancarlo could accommodate us with gluten free food that I couldn’t even tell was different.
Any time I’m in Morro Bay I will definitely come back. I’ll likely plan a trip up here just to take my friends here. Thank you again, Giancarlo, staff and family!

Great service, great drinks (beer and wine, no liquor), and for the most part great food. The salmon, though everything else on the plate was amazing, was just ok. The duck breast plate was phenomenal.
