I came by because Google Maps says they close at 11 PM. When I arrived, a staff member was locking the door. He stepped outside and spoke to another customer in Haitian Creole but did not acknowledge me at all, even though I was standing there speaking English. He went back inside without saying anything to me.
If you’re closed early, that’s fine — but please update your hours and communicate with all customers respectfully. That experience felt dismissive and unwelcoming.

I honestly don’t have any words for how amazing this food was. It felt as if there was a party in my mouth. This restaurant make me feel like I’m being transformed to Haiti. Every time I come to Miami, I come to eat some Haitian food. I came on September 13 before my cruise and I’m so glad I did. I got Legumes avec diri blanc et Poison Fri avec diri blanc. As a Haitian who was born and raised in Haiti, I miss home all the time and I’m so happy I get a taste of home like this.

WOW!!! Recently visited this restaurant and all I could say is wow! Everything about this place was amazing. The food was delicious, the vibe was there 🙂 and the owner Gaelle as well her staff were kind and friendly. Definitely recommend this place. I will be back for sure.

My Wife and I made Gayous our first stop when we left the airport. We had the fried turkey with white and brown rice; beans.

The world’s slowest restaurant for takeout on DoorDash. Thanks a lot for telling me “about 7 minutes”, then almost 20 mins go by and food still isn’t ready. Doesn’t offer doordashers any drinks or friendly attitude for serving their old, run down hole in the wall restaurant. Don’t tell the driver an underestimate of the time the order will be ready. We don’t get paid enough to be waiting 20 minutes and food is STILL not ready. Thanks a lot for wasting my time and making me cancel the pickup cuz I was disgusted by your rude tude.
