We were just passing through El Paso after a trip to Big Bend, catching our flight back to Fort Worth, and decided to look for a unique spot for lunch. Gaucho popped up on Google, and we’re so glad we stopped in! My favorites were the octopus and the tenderloin. Both were delicious. The food was flavorful, beautifully prepared, and the service was excellent. Such a great find for a quick lunch on our way home!

Good food, nice selection and pleasant ambiance. Server acted like you just got a steak with your order but we were surprised to see some veggies on each plate. Just a bit overpriced but isn’t everything these days.

The only restaurant has recently changed its name from Garufa to Gaucho, and unfortunately, the experience felt very different. The atmosphere was not the same as before, and soft drinks were not available the night we visited. Our waitress was friendly, but she struggled to stay on top of what our party of six needed. On a positive note, the new manager was extremely friendly and helpful.
Two orders of the Gaucho Steak were incorrect, and the sides vegetables and mashed potatoes were extremely small. We do not recommend the spinach empanadas, but the rest of the appetizers were delicious and reasonably priced.
The worst part of the experience happened after we left, when a few members of our party became sick. We don’t know the exact cause, but unfortunately, we won’t be going back.

We’ve celebrated birthdays and special events at this location for the past three years, and it has always been consistent with excellent service and food.
The price was also affordable compared to other fine dining establishments around this area. Will be sure to keep coming back!

This place is absolutely beautiful. The service is top tier and the food is out of this world. This has definitely been worth the wait. Make sure to ask for Mauricio or Sophia for an elevated experience. Management was absolutely hands on with customers and showed that he truly cared. I will definitely be coming back as a full time regular.
