In 1991 the current owners George Callas and John Katsiambis bought Gatsby’s. They gave it a fresh remodel all while keeping the classic look and feel of the place. George and John have done many face lifts to the interior and exterior of the building over the years to evolve with the changing community. Gatsby’s has found its own unique way of incorporating the new with the old, including the addition of 80 plasma TV’s for everyones viewing pleasure. One thing remains the same: it still has that wonderful nostalgic look and feel dating back to almost 50 years ago.

Bad food. Mushrooms came out frozen. Second batch tasted like they were a year old. No offer to take them off the bill.Overpriced drinks. 7.50 for a Vodka with water. (I ordered a SINGLE in tall glass so they charged 50 cents extra for more water.) So 7 dollars for well vodka with water. Plus up charge.They also charged me an almost 2 dollar fee to pay with my debit card —-which is not posted ANYWHERE in the restaurant or on the menu —-and 6.80 in tax on our bill since we ordered food, even though we sat at the bar. Taxes at the bar are normally included in the price of your drinks.This place is using COVID as an excuse for up charging and bad quality. And Cheating the bar tax code. Scam.Do not go here.And for perspective. There were two of us on this tab. I work in the industry and would never willfully talk down a fellow bar/restaurant unless they deserved it. This is a true review.

We called for a last minute reservation of about 30-40 guests from a memorial service last Saturday to be at Gatsby’s. They were very accommodating and assigned our area two servers who were AWESOME! I don’t know how they kept all the orders straight but they did a great job.The food was delicious – as always! Thank you Gatsby’s!
