After 3 minutes of waiting for someone to take my order the girl who was sweeping the floor came straight to me and attempted to take my order which I asked her “Are you going to switch your gloves weren’t you just sweeping”? She said oh yea and preceded to switch her gloves. Then I asked for 3 tacos and she went back and forth with me regarding not having tortillas even though I was looking directly at them. Finally she informed me there was only two tortillas left in the bag which she the had to ask her manager if she could sell me the remaining two tortillas!
Horrible customer service!
After a few minutes of this, she and another worker came back to the counter and I again said I was trying to pick up my catering order and read them the confirmation number. The second worker was able to locate my order in the back and handed it to the first lady who brought it to me. I then asked her if she needed me to sign anything and she groaned at me and told me to scan the QR code. I looked at the receipt on the bag and there was no QR code, so I again told her I was not a driver and was a customer who had ordered and paid for this food and was trying to pick it up and did she need me to sign anything. She still didn’t understand so I took the food and left. The food tasted fine but based on how rude she was I would drive further up the street and go to Salsaritas by New Garden or Moes at Battleground. Even if I were a doordash drive there is no reason for staff to be so rude to someone trying to do their job, especially when she was so clearly unable to do hers. The restaurant was empty, there was no line that I had to wait in and nobody behind me so I am not sure why she was in such a foul mood.
Not sure if this is the worst chipotle in the Triad area or not, but could possibly be the worst chipotle yet! I love chipotle and I eat here often, not necessarily this location, but I eat chipotle and have eaten chipotle since 2014 on at least a monthly basis. I don’t know what’s been going on lately, but this location is the worst. I got a spring garden in Quaker Village when possible. Unfortunately from my chipotle taste I have a newborn and I have to DoorDash periodically and this battleground location never disappoints on it horrendous food. I would love this to be a great chipotle as it’s close to me. It’s new. I’m sure it has lots of clientele with the location. I’m sure has all the makings to be a great chipotle, but it’s just not been here multiple times where they’ve not had tortillas meat, sauce, chicken, fajita, vegetables, you name it they’ve not had it.
My my new public service is to start leaving a review every time I eat this chipotle. For good or for worse reviews will become my standard in hopes management somehow by the grace of God takes a look at them and make some sort of change.
Never actually even got my food. But I will go out of my way moving forward to not go to this location.
The restaurant is DIRTY. The restaurant was not full but all available tables were dirty. Both trash receptacles were overflowing on top, food and trash everywhere. Straws were slap out. We didn’t dare ask the staff for more because they were so dismissive and rude – we felt like we were intruding in their space and how dare we be there lol
The food guards were splattered with dried and crusty food. The prep and cooking areas were also covered in food and trash. The floor in front of the refrigerators were also full of spilled food and trash.
What are they doing here? Who is managing this place?!? They aren’t leading their staff and the location is suffering. We will not be back. We can’t go back.
Service was outstanding, especially for fast food. There were no napkins in their napkin holders, but after we sat down, one of the very friendly staff members came around to every table asking if anybody needed napkins. When do you ever see that at a fast food restaurant? Thank you.
The food was great. Everything we had was fresh and full of flavor. We couldn’t believe the amount they stuffed into the burritos and the bowl! Haven’t seen this amount in any other Chipotle. Again, thank you.
Honestly, the only thing holding it back from a 5 star fast food joint is that they were out of a few proteins when we ordered, and when people ordered a little bit after us. My son wanted carne asada, they were out. Not, “We’ll have some in 5 minutes”, but they didn’t have any. Then behind us, they ran out of chicken and told the customers it would be a 20min wait. Not something you want to hear at a fast food place.
If they can get the inventory correct, especially for a busy Friday evening, they would knock it out of the park for fast food. We’ll be back to see if they have everything next time.
