Absolutely love Gathering Grounds Espresso Bar! Their monthly specials are so creative and delicious, the employees and owner are incredibly kind and really make you want to keep going back. Not only that, but they use Drop Kick Coffee and they’re the only coffee shop in Ramona that does! The espresso is so smooth, with hardly any acidity, it’s fantastic. I can’t say enough good things about them, seriously!

Couldn’t be more thrilled with our neighborhood coffee shop. I love that the menu rotates every month so there are new, fresh flavors to try (although they will still make the ones you get attached to thank goodness)!
Friendly and attentive service always! Oh they also do such fun decor, summertime movies with free popcorn, and seasonal lemonades for the kids. Overall just a great addition to our community!

This place has my whole heart. The dirty banana chai is unreal, the vibes are always cozy, and the staff feels like family. We literally took our whole crew here almost daily over the holidays and it was the highlight every time.

Very cute little place! I stopped by this morning and got a dark chocolate peppermint mocha and a cinnamon roll (which are baked by someone in town). Both were FABULOUS. The two ladies working there were awesome too and dealt with my “just rolled out of bed” brain fog with a laugh a friendly chit chat. I’m so glad I stopped by because I frequently stay overnight with friends who live in the estates and need coffee on my way home in the mornings but never want to drive all the way into town.
It was also nice to learn that they have a variety of options there too (lemonade, teas, health juice shot things).
The patio is cute and has a bookshelf set up with a take and leave system (I think) and some games in the corner for kiddos.
Highly recommend and will be back soon!

What an amazing local GEM, The San Diego country Estates needed this amazing upgrade!
The owner first of all, is so kind and creative. It’s been amazing to attend her local events. During the summer they put on free movie nights- it’s a must go to for our very family centered community.
If you don’t already, follow their Instagram and Facebook for their monthly specials and calendar of events, you’ll never know where you’ll find Gathering Grounds whether it’s a local pumpkin patch or at an event!
The barista’s: Charli, Elena, Riata, Heather, Danica, and Liliana- Are all incredible people. Each one of them brings their own special spark when I get my coffee, I enjoy the service & smiles!
If you aren’t as much of a coffee fan, don’t worry they still have other options… They have energy drinks, Cold pressed juices, and quite the menu for food! I love the new bagels & the popular cinnamon rolls.

We had just moved to Ramona last December {2024}. I thought we’d be without a coffee shop up here in the Estates. A few months after we moved in, Gathering Grounds opened its doors.
With it, brought a fresh new energy to this little corner of Ramona. Community, smiles, friendship, and truly THE BEST COFFEE! Danica and her entire team are so kind, so quick, and so lovely to see first thing in the morning.
I throughly look forward to the monthly drink menu. The creativity & flavor combinations are like no other!!

I ordered a mocha with added shots, soooo incredibly over-sweet. That being said, it is basically the only coffee option for miles. What are you gonna do? Order a coffee, that’s what you’re gonna do. Ask for reduced sweetener, is my recommendation. I didn’t order food, so I can’t speak to that.

Love this place and the ladies! They were my favorite at Dunkin and I was sad I wouldn’t see them anymore but anytime I go out to the Estates I’ll be making a stop! They even remembered how I like my drink. They have stuff for kiddos to do to keep busy while you sit and enjoy your drink and or snack, while talking with friends or just enjoying the fresh air. Miss you ladies and Danica I’m so proud and excited for you and your accomplishments!
