This is a nice family diner. It is great for families. The food was reasonably priced. We took my neice out to brekfast. My husband had creamed chipped beef which he thoroughly enjoyed. My neice and I had the Nutella waffle with fresh bananas and strawberries with whipped cream. Delicious! They had a huge variety on their menu serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

We were here around 1215 on 6/9/2026. This was an amazing experience, we haven’t been to this diner yet and was a little skeptical with how previous diners have been, but my wife wanted unlimited coffee lol. Anyways Sabrina should teach classes on customer service in this day and age she did an amazing job and was very attentive, very respectful along with the perfect choice of meal. The food was great not one thing was bad or needed flavor it was all made to perfection. We appreciate Sabrina going above and beyond with everything and the cooks in the back slamming it down in the kitchen. (Slang for doing a great job) We will definitely return when we’re in town next. I wish every place had this love behind it all again.

I ordered a senior meal for $12:99. Two thin pork chops over spice with garlic salt and other spices, overpowering, but the pork was good. Mash potatoes were terrible. Not enough butter or milk, just tasted artificial. Brown gravy was marginal. Cream of potato soup was not! A thin broth with hamburger, a few potatoes, and egg dough was tasty. Out of rice and tapioca pudding ( only 6 pm. ! ) but had raspberry ice cream that was decent. Ordered a baklava to go. It looked really good. Disappointed with baklava. Fake cream. Not enough honey or nuts. For lunch, cream of chicken with bean. Too thick, not hot enough, more like a stew. Taste was o.k. Also had a Texas dog with chili and raw onions . Chili should have been spicy. Roll could be better. For breakfast, I had chipped beef over toast and fried potatoes . Large serving. Decent flavor. This is an average restaurant – basic food at average prices. Seniors don’t give up!

We had the most wonderful dinner at Getaway Family Diner last night! This place truly lives up to its name—it’s the perfect, comfortable spot for a fantastic meal with the family.
First off, the service was amazing. The staff are so friendly and welcoming from the moment you walk in. They made us feel right at home and were great with our kids.
Now, for the food—wow! The speed of service really impressed us. Our meals arrived hot and fresh incredibly quickly, which is a huge plus when you’re dining with hungry little ones. We started with the soup, which was absolutely delicious and clearly homemade. But the real showstopper was the salad. I’m not even exaggerating when I say it’s to die for! It was so fresh, with the perfect mix of toppings and a dressing I would buy by the bottle. The portion was so generous that my partner and I easily split it. It’s definitely a salad for two!

My Family and I have eaten Breakfast here a few times and Always enjoyed our meals. My Family and I dined today for Dinner and My Daughter was excited to get the Stuffed French Toast. This is what was Served. A small amount of pink cold filling that tasted and looked like Bubblegum toothpaste in between two cold pieces of plain French toast. Awful and disappointing. Our glasses of water had sprinkles in bottom. Water is clear and a server should be paying enough attention to catch dirty cups before bringing out and serving to customers.

This place might be the last decent priced place in America ..lol and the food is delicious!! staff is friendly, attentive, and the atmosphere is clean, simple and cute!! I had a breakfast of 2 eggs, toast, hash browns, and three pieces of Canadian bacon , with a side of chipped beef gravy for $11.79 all nice sized portions. The night before a roast turkey dinner with stuffing and 2 sides, cup of soup for $14.99 ( again large portions and delicious)

I’m impressed. Dining & restrooms were very clean. Meal presentation A+. These burgers were fantastic and very reasonably priced. Service was friendly & professional. Finally !! A place that gets it !! See y’all in the future

Wow!! Lacey and I really enjoyed our meals here! She had chipped beef on toast, and I had a meat lovers omelette. Have been here before and really like the biscuits and gravy but wanted to try something different. Waitress was good and attentive. We will definitely be back!!
