This was an exceptionally good burger. I would rate it as a top tier burger you definitely cannot get this at McDonald’s nor Burger King. My service was good I can’t complain about any of it. The decor gave it that 1970s 1980s vibe to me. I definitely enjoyed my visit and my food.

I’m not sure what happened to this place. My wife’s burger came out flat, no juice and burnt black. Mine came out the same. Fries were half cold. And the service lady at the counter was such a delight (insert sarcasm). Not sure we coming here ever again

They have the best cheeseburgers in the CSRA. I don’t live near by, and I still make the half-hour drive there at least twice a month for a Cheeseburger Plate with onion rings. This is not your typical fast food burger place, you will have to wait 5-10 minutes for them to cook it; but everything will be freshly made. They use high quality, fresh ingredients as well. I have heard the other items on their menu are very good also.

What happened to this place used to get a full chicken strips now you get half chicken strips so instead of me getting four chicken strips for giving me to nowadays can you charge in people more money come on yeah wifesavers doing the same garbage. Its food, yes however hamburger in the name sets an expectation is should be good. The bun was soft that was a good thing. Hamburger was well over done to the fact it was burnt (did not bother the dog he ate it) there was a slight amount of mayo and ketchup . Service was slow as can be. I hate to give bad reviews but could have saved money and went someplace else.

We tried Gary’s for the first time on 10/24/25. The cashier was extremely rude to my husband when he was ordering. We witnessed her being rude to other patrons, as well. The food was bland and needed seasoning. A few hours after our dinner, my husband became violently ill due to food poisoning. I started experiencing food poisoning symptoms in the early morning. It’s clear that Gary’s caused the food poisoning since that was the only change in our routine. Do not go here unless you want poor service, mediocre food, and severe food poisoning. There are so many better restaurant options in the area.

This place is DIRTY. I have never been so sick in my entire life. I ate a cheeseburger from Gary’s and a few hours later I was suffering from the worst food poisoning. I thought I was going to die after I lost all of that fluid. It took me several days to fully recover. If you value your life, DO NOT eat at Gary’s. They are absolutely disgusting.

11/12/23- Well.i returned for breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed. THE STAFF( ALL ladies) were working like grandma’s in the kitchen. My breakfast was served with soo much love. It was uhhm uhmm good. So I had to change my stars.
1o/ 3/22 I really wanted to like it. Maybe my expectations were too high. I assumed it was a great mom and pop old fashioned handmade burger but it taste exactly like Wendy’s may have stolen their exact recipe. My fries and burger were made fresh but I could only take a few bites. I love food. Maybe the breakfast is better. The window clerk was very nice.

Is it any wonder why just 1 Garys remains out of 5-6 originally? No it’s quite obvious from how the deviated from the operating hours listed on their website and Google. Then being first in line unless the invisible orders were stacking up at 6:30 AM we waited way too long. The other locations were busy at one point and it appeared they always pulled a lame inconsistent 2-3 week shut down and expected their staff to be there upon reopening?!? Well that’s a dumb concept and why would anyone unless they were secretly rich be able to ride the storm out. This i believe is why first Evans closed and then the one on Washington Rd?!? Who does that? Just decides to close down for a few weeks and not have implications?!?
