Probably the best Thai food I have had in this area!
Everything was really amazing! I have never had drunken noodles that tasted this good!
We had their vegetarian options, which their menu had a lot of!
The spice level for everything was amazing, and exactly how I like it!
Our server was really helpful and gave us great suggestions
We tried their Drunken Noodles, Fried Eggplant, Spring Rolls and Tom Yum soup.
We will visit this place again!

In general, really good. The presentation of the duck rolls was very cool. That said, my pad thai was a little on the salty side for my taste. My companion really liked the chicken curry with squash. So overall, I’d highly recommend it.

Love me some Thai , I rate this place a solid 3.75! Bangkok 54 did not disappoint. My go to dish is drunken noodles medium spice with chicken. Excellent flavors. But perhaps they could increase the little heat a bit for a medium dish. But overall I recommend this place if you are in the DC area.

They have the best red curry ever — so flavorful and perfectly balanced. The Thai spicy level isn’t bad at all, which was a pleasant surprise. I can’t wait to come back and order it again!
Their happy hour is fantastic, and I love that they serve khao soi, which not all Thai restaurants offer. I didn’t get to try it this time, but I’m sure it’s amazing — definitely on my list for next visit.
Of course, I had to get a Thai iced tea, and it was incredible! Their drink menu is surprisingly extensive for a Thai restaurant, and I was super impressed.
10/10 — amazing food, drinks, and service!

We have always gotten food to go from here as we live close by. The food is great! However the service we have received lately has been poor. We’ve had the same order for the past 6 months and I always read off what it says on their online menu when I order- several weeks ago they gave us the wrong order- we didn’t make anything of it as the food had always been good. Didn’t ask for a refund or complain. The next week we ordered our usual, however when I went in to pick it up I explained we were given the wrong order last time and asked if they mind to double check that I was getting the correct items this time- the lady was very hateful about it – I told her we really appreciated it and walk away with the food. Today I called and placed the same order as always and the lady insisted that what I was ordering was called something different- I told her I was just reading what the menu said online and she insisted I was wrong and that she knew what I was talking about. When I got to the restaurant I politely asked if I could make sure I got the right order – it was not. I asked them to please make my correct order however there was no apology from the staff. No discount- no recognition that I now had to wait an additional amount of time to remake the food that I ordered correctly. I paid full price – said thank you- and still dealt with the poor customer service. They could do better.

If you haven’t tried Bangkok 54 yet, it’s definitely time. Once you do, it might just become your go-to spot for Thai food. Whether you’re dining in or ordering takeout, Bangkok 54 delivers consistently delicious dishes—just note that presentation for takeout/delivery may differ a bit from the in-house experience.
I recently stopped by for dinner—my first visit in a while—and was reminded why this place is so popular. For an early Thursday evening, it was surprisingly busy, likely thanks to their tempting happy hour deals.
The food? Packed with flavor and a satisfying kick. If you’re not big on spice, be warned: I think the spicy dishes seem to come at a default medium (around a 3 out of 5 on the heat scale), so don’t be shy about asking them to dial it down.

Absolutely loved the food. The drunken noodles were flavorful and spicy, the papaya salad was tangy but well-rounded, and the fried starters were airy. The larb was also what I expected it to taste like. Delicious, all-in-all. I would love to stop by again soon for more.

Hubby and I stopped there to pass time for the comedy show we were attending next door. The food and drinks were really good. We started with veggie rolls and a salmon sushi roll. I had a hibiscus and latte martini and the grilled salmon for my entree. The grilled salmon was beautifully presented and the sauce was delicious. Hubby had an IPA (he wasn’t too thrilled about it) but he enjoyed the long island he ordered. He also ordered the orange chicken for his entree, the veggie were fresh and the dish taste really good.
