Came here because we had a play at the Fox and it was within walking distance. Plenty of seating. All of the staff were extremely nice, smiling and helpful. There is a nice range of options to eat. I chose the catfish and was not disappointed. We also had a slice of chocolate cack for dessert. It was the perfect ending for the meal and very rich.

Don’t normally leave reviews but I had to for this one. Me and the wife came for a show at Fox theater and decided to grab dinner at a place close by, and let me tell you for it being our first time in Missouri and just picking somewhere on whem we made a good choice. Staff is very polite and respectful, the atmosphere goes well being next to the theater, food service was normal. Wouldn’t say it was fast but also was not prolonged, and the food itself was amazing. Delicious flavored catfish for me and my wife’s Philly was so tasteful with home made onion rings and a.crunchy bread. I don’t know if it is normally done this way but we just happen to wander on on a day they gave away free dessert with every meal purchase. Blackberry drizzled cheesecake….wow! If I was here all the time for shows or lived here alone I would definitely eat here all the time.

Had a group of 7. Arrived at 4:00, only ones there, but when we left at 5:30ish, the place was packed. Tracy and 2 other gentlemen on their team took great care of us. We had a variety of dishes, Ribeye, Chicken Alfredo, Salmon, Wingettes (huge), Fish and Chips, and a crazy big Hamburger. Everything was hot and tasty. Then small slice of free cheesecake or chocolate cake was a really nice touch! We’ll be back!

Food is fine. “Fine Dining” it is not. And don’t come if you’re in a hurry. We arrived at 5:30 before a Fox show and practically had to beg for our check and then for him to run our card. Barely made it to the show in time and I think the Fox is the only reason they’re in business at all. Super nice staff. Just sssslllooooowwwww.

Line too long at Stage Left, so here we are. Lovely atmosphere. All the servers are kind older gentleman. I had liver & onions, rice & veggies on the side. Liver was overcooked, too much gravy and over salted, for my taste. My husband enjoyed his baked potato, ribeye & veggies. Folks around us appear happy with salads, chicken tenders, & sandwich type meals. We both enjoyed the yummy cheesecake.

I gotta say, I did read other reviews while waiting for my meal. Couple people calling it TV dinner food. For my fish and chips, I’d say that would be an unfair assessment. I was trying to get to a show quick. Popped in, told em I needed quick service, and the waiter, who was friendly but also very professional, advised me that, out of the options I was considering, the fish and chips would be the quickest. The cod came out PIPING hot. Solid, literally, solid, like crunchy breading, super soft, fresh (to my taste) fish, good fries. Everything tasted great, and went down great too. (Wasn’t all bloated at the show.) Every meal comes with a free dessert too! I didn’t have the cheesecake cause I can’t eat sweets like that. So. 1 for 1 in my book, Gary’s Fine Dining.

Good food takes time. If you want something quick before taking in a show at the Fox, then get some chicken tenders or a burger. But, if you want a fabulous meal in a hip yet intimate atmosphere, then get an entree

Don’t forget to start with the crab stuffed shrimp as an appetizer. These were so good, I almost wished that I had gotten a double order as my entree. Glad I didn’t, though, because the catfish was absolutely amazing. Best I have had outside of New Orleans.

Love the servers here and the overall atmosphere. Alcoholic drinks are good but very strong.

We had lunch at Gary’s Fine Dining today before the matinee at the Fox. The staff was friendly and the food was fast and made fresh. My Philly was amazing and my sister said the burger was one of the best she’s had in a long time. It was definitely worth going across the street even with all the construction in front of the restaurant. We will be going back again soon!
