Great Place for date night. Live band on Friday and Saturday night. Band was very good. Our waiter Brandon was fantastic too. Food was tasty! Come on out!

Good food takes time. If you want something quick before taking in a show at the Fox, then get some chicken tenders or a burger. But, if you want a fabulous meal in a hip yet intimate atmosphere, then get an entree

Tracy was our server. She is more than amazing. We got the liver and onions and the seafood pasta. Both were cooked to perfection. The servings are so large we each have a second meal. You need to eat here!!!

Food was good, band was good, service was good. If you are going to the symphony or the Fox and have some time for a good meal, Gary’s is a good choice.

The name is very deceiving. Nothing about Gary’s is Fine, they’re lucky to skate by with achieving a Dining atmosphere. First off, I’m unsure of who trained their bar staff but I ordered an Old Fashioned and got some monstrosity that had lemon and orange wedges in it, with maraschino cherries and a SUGAR RIM. It was the sweetest, most disgusting attempt to an Old Fashion I’ve ever seen. I’m not entirely sure there was whiskey in it. Luckily I returned it for something a bit similar. Then came our meal, which not only tasted like it was thrown in a microwave, but the baked potato was cold, and the “veggie side” looked as if the Golly Green Giant cooked it himself. Avoid the hassle and go some place else that has a legitimate chef.

We went to Gary’s since the diner next door was unexpectedly closed, this was our first mistake. We were greeted in a friendly manner, which was nice. But it took over 40 minutes minutes to get our food, and our table wasn’t even served at the same time. One person got their food first, five minutes later two more people got their food, and about five minutes after that the final person got their food. It took a long time for simple requests, like ketchup for the fries. I got the chicken tenders, they had a nice coating but were rather dry on the inside. Our waiter wasn’t very friendly. Sadly we will not be back in the fall when the Fox season resumes.

Stopped in for a quick lunch before we went over to the Fox theater to see Hades town. The crab stuffed shrimp were absolutely delicious. The chicken Alfredo and the chicken strips were good. Prices were reasonable and the service was good. I wouldn’t call this a five star restaurant but I would call it a good honest meal.

Tables after us got their food before us. We even ordered the same thing. Some of our food was warm and the veggies were cold. Pretty sure this place stays open with first timers. Definitely won’t be back. Especially after our mixed drinks came with floaters in it. Would not recommend.

Me and my Wife went there on V-day and this place was absolutely GREAT!! For only $25 we had a great Buffet meal in which along would have cost more than $25 without the great live music. The Entertainment by the G-Spot anything more than spectacular!! Off the Chain!! Great clean live music was some of the best I have heard in Saint Louis in years. Definitely the place to go on weekends, especially for those about 40 years or older. Jazz and good old live fashion music from the great artists from the 80s -90s. Highly recommended, we are definitely going back on the weekend where I think there is no cover charge and you just order off the menu and enjoy the good live clean entertainment!!! Thank God for Gary Bringing back good live entertainment to St. Louis.

Best place I’ve eaten in years! They didn’t give me the option for 20 stars. Definitely a hidden gem and amazing to say the least! Will make the 2 hr drive to eat here again no questions asked!
