Small little place in Wayne,nj across street from Mountain View train station with great flavor. Fresh chicken & ribs a way go. They have their own Soda brand as well. They have indoor dining as well as outdoor patio. I was lucky to meet Gary the owner and there’s live music there on wed (hard rock) and Thursdays (country) service was fast place very clean. I got the combo chicken ribs macaroni & cheese and a corn concoction which was amazing. Just had to take some of that home.
Definitely recommend & I will be back soon.

If you’re looking for some really good BBQ, stop by Gary & Meg’s Chicken & Ribs! They take their time and ensure that the food is seasoned well and cooked to perfection! The brisket sandwich is my favorite with a side of coleslaw and cornbread! Trust me, if you’re a fan of cornbread with actual corn in it, you’ve gotta try it! Plus Meg is super friendly! Gary is usually in the back but he’ll pop out every now and then to get feedback and interact with the customers. They also sell some really tasty flavors of soda. I’m telling you, this is one of my favorite places to go for lunch.

Solid Experience all around! We wanted to try their full menu and give a new business the best opportunity to find a spot in our regular ordering-out rotation. Glad we did as we ended up ordering a Full Rack of Ribs + Pulled Chicken Sandwich Meal + Pulled Pork Sandwich Meal. As others have said their Mac and cheese and cornbread concoction are both phenomenal additions and everything was very very good. My personal favorite is now their pulled chicken sandwic,h as I can’t remember having something so uniquely succulent and fresh tasting in quite a long time. We will definitely be ordering again.

Great BBQ meal at Gary & Meg’s (who we got to meet). They are super passionate about their restaurant and the food they cook. They allowed us to sample the ribs and pulled pork, which we will absolutely be back for in the warm weather (and sit outside on the patio!!). Collared greens and cornbread was comfort food at its finest. Grilled shrimp was cooked PERFECTLY and habanero dipping sauce was fantastic. Homemade BBQ sauce was also a hit.

Hung out at Gary & Meg’s Chicken & Ribs tonight and it was GREAT. Food was DELISH. Service was ON POINT. Atmosphere was AWESOME.
Had chicken, ribs, pulled pork…my fav was chicken & hubby’s ribs but it was all good. Their Mac & Cheese is on my top-3-list and the cornbread is golden & savory…can you taste golden???!!! If you can’t you need to learn…tastebuds have color, texture, temperature, fragrance, & flavor!
Next time we visit we are going to have STONE AGE SHORT RIB, which sounds amazing, not forgetting a good Cab, oh yeah it’s BYOB 🙂

Very small hidden spot with good food got a rib and chicken combo with beans and mac & cheese. The mac & cheese is so creamy. The gentleman behind the counter had me sample the cornbread concoction everything was very flavorful. Will definitely return.

Ok so i won’t say this place was terrible but i will say i was a bit heartbroken lol they didn’t have any bbq sauce by the time we went to pick up our order!!. The cornbread was really really good. The mac was good too. The chicken did have flavor but it was sure as hell missing that bbq sauce lol

Happend to stumble upon this place totally by chance and it was a home run. It is located across from the train station on a one way street. They use charcoal for their cooking process. The chef recommended the chicken combo and I added an order of ribs. The cornbread and Mac and cheese for the sides. Everything was excellent and had great flavor. I was the first customer of the day, so everything was coming out hot and ready to go. I would definitely go back. Going to add this spot on the Scary Good Eats App for NJ Barbque.

Oh my!! . Went into these cute restaurant after a sunday church service, and left amazed with the service and the food was scrumptious, delicious and just amazing. You have to try the mac n cheese, ribs with no sauce and homemade coleslaw, oh they even had CHILI…I was in heaven. A+, the owner offered us a sample of his newly rice pudding.. Yummy..
