I drive thru most times but I have eaten inside. Even sat at the booth Billy Bob Thornton ate at. I have a bad habit of eating their corn dogs but the burgers are yummy and the employees are nice and friendly and the place is clean.

Food is decent. It’s a fun stop if you’re a setjetter. Seems popular with the locals. Place is rather old, thus it’s kind of disgusting. Bathroom was “not working” when we were there.

Delicious burger (fried bun, plenty of pickles and lettuce) and the spicy fries are incredible. Loved the photos of the movie, as well as the exact seat where it looked like Billy Bob Thornton sat for the diner scene with his “Franch fried po-taters”. Such a fun little dive, loved everything about it!!

Everyone was very polite and professional, if your looking for a good hamburger and like little dives, this is the place for you, price is a little steep but ill willingly pay for a non frozen hamburger patty. I recommend VERY limited seating inside.

Some coworkers went to pick up food. Got fish and looks nothing like pictures. I was very disappointed. Taste as if grease was old or burnt.

First I’d like to say, the older lady that was working was very nice and helpful.
The place is definitely a local landmark, it’s been there forever and was of course in the sling blade movie. So I get the significance of it and I hate to rag on it but I am just honest when it comes to food .
It wasn’t great. Maybe in its glory years, but to me it just seems to be satisfied being mediocre. I get people love it, but I’m not from the area and I just judge on what I am given.
Starting with negatives…the burger and fries were just not great. The burger was expensive for what it is and rather small for a “large”.
The burger itself tasted ok, if you’ve had a burger at any run of the mill diner, it tasted the same to me. The patty seems like it was premade.
The fries were just fried frozen crinkle fries, once again just ok and generic.
Onion rings fared no better unfortunately, the oil needed to be changed. It was obviously old oil and the onion rings once again were frozen. Just ok, would be way better with fresh oil.
My main pro was that the fried pie was pretty good and was the best part of the meal.
All in all, service was friendly, it’s a unique location. Food was lacking. I’m glad I went but I probably won’t come back.

Our first time to this diner wasn’t a decision we regretted. The atmosphere takes you back in time with 50s diner music and decor! Bonus: the food will not disappoint. Grab a shake while you’re there—the chocolate covered cherry shake is absolutely wonderful!

Old fashioned dining with nostalgic atmosphere. Ordered Giant Cheeseburger Combo. Handmade patty with your choice of condiments with fries and drink. You can dine inside, outside or drive-thru. Also ordered a strawberry shake made with real strawberries which was great. This an old building with rustic furniture so don’t be fooled that the food won’t be good because it is.

It was so good and service was fast going back soon and shop for goodies they have chow chow, and apple butter among other items! My son had this sandwich and seasoned fries he definitely approved and this Bourbon Pecan Pie Omg I loved it. I would love to have a whole pie for the holidays but not sure if they sale them but going to find out

Hole in the wall burger place. Apparently done scenes from the movie “Sling blade” were shot at this location. Small inside with only 3 booths, 4 counter stools. Some picnic tables outside. Friendly staff, reasonable prices on burger, fries, drink combo. Burger was very good. Definitely recommend it if in the area
