Husband and 4 kids came here for dinner. We realize not many places have loads of seating for larger parties and figured we might have to wait, but when we got there and saw they had 2 people seated at a table for 7 was a bit ridiculous. So we had to wait for them to finish their meal. We got seated and manager/owner took our drink orders and then our waitress took over when it was time to order. We got two sides of mozzarella sticks (only 4 per order) as an appetizer. They were pretty under cooked. No cheese pull and the cheese came out in a solid block with the first bite. Eek. I ordered a club wrap with curly fries, very good. My oldest got a bacon cheeseburger, he said it was very good. 2 kids got the sliders kids meal (comes with applesauce and fries) and they liked them. Other kid got chicken tender kids meal, liked that. My husband got the pork chop dinner and was incredibly disappointed. He said it was NOT pork chops but rather a ham steak. He questioned it with the server and she said it smoked pork chop. He didn’t like it unfortunately. When we got our bill, it wasn’t right, they did fix it. We probably won’t be back unless we want to try breakfast (which they weren’t serving anymore when we got there). They seem to have quite the following with the locals and it was quite busy.

We ate 2x over our weekend. Both breakfast and dinner. Their homemade bread/toast was delicious. Food was huge portions staff was the best both visits. Customers were friendly as well. Tiny wait at breakfast. Service is fast though.

Drove from Leota just for the Eggs Benedict and it did not disappoint! Best breakfast I’ve had in a long time! Only place around the area that still has eggs Benedict and Hollandaise sauce! May have found our new breakfast spot!

Food is always good when we go. Customer service by waitstaff was good. Only thing that we didnt appreciate this time was could hear the kitchen staff yelling and being a little much, BUT I know that has not happened other times so maybe it was just an off evening. Just makes hard to enjoy family time with your kid with that atmosphere. I will go again and do recommend others go.

Garrett’s Place has been here long before I moved here over 25 years ago so unless you have good food you won’t make it this long in this town! Burgers and fish are great and so are the other menu items. There’s a large selection of food to choose from! This is a small but friendly and accommodating restaurant and take out orders are always on time. My husband and I order take out frequently as well and it never disappoints!
