The restaurant doesn’t live up to the hotel.
I’ve been here a couple of times, and every visit I really enjoy the beautiful décor and warm atmosphere, it’s such a pleasant place to bring friends and family. The staff is friendly and attentive, and honestly, both are the main reason I keep coming back.
My disappointment comes from the food — it definitely needs improvement. This time, my husband ordered the chicken burger but was served the fish one instead. He took a bite before realizing it, and he’s allergic! Thankfully, he noticed in time. The manager came over to apologize and brought the correct order, but when my husband tried the chicken burger later at home, the chicken was very tough.
The coffee is good — I ordered a cappuccino but received an cappuccino espresso without being told, though it still tasted fine. Everything else, like the flatbread and fried brie, felt low-quality, as if it had been frozen and just reheated when ordered. It would be great if they reviewed and refreshed their menu, putting more care into the quality and preparation of their dishes.

We really wanted to line this place more than we did but we just couldn’t. The hotel seems nice the restaurant felt more like a bar than a place to eat. The seats were so uncomfortable. Even as a bar the drafts were unavailable. Again wanted to line the magical
dining but we just didn’t. The calamari wasn’t that fresh and was very noticeable. It made me sick that night. The short rib was more of a chunk taken off of a roast. Both pieces were overcooked almost dry. Needed more sauce for them also. The potato’s were good. The bread pudding desert was decent but with a napkin on the saucer plate and a hot ramekin the sauce and ice cream all went there Service was subpar. We asked for another minute to look at drink menu. It took her 10+ to come back. Then I was told the draft lines were no good. Could have stated that first. After that it was another 10 minutes for her to come back with one drink. Everyone around us was eating well before us. My calamari was like warm when it came out. We had to continually ask for water from anyone else going by. I would never pay what they charge normally if this is what you get. We left not wanting to even try out Bacan which was also on our list. Can’t chance another round of this.

My friends and I came here to try the magical dining. The atmosphere was amazing, it was a nice restaurant. Definitely well decorated!
I had the calamari for appetizers, we ordered a total of 4 calamari’s and only two had the grill lemon on them. Therefore, we had to share the lemon around the table.
For main, I had the braised short rib. It looks very tasty and tender however, it was very dry. The veggies that came with it were delicious.
For dessert I had the pudding. I specially requested to opt out on the rum anglaise due to me being pregnant. However, when I tasted it, you could tell that they still put it. A lot of my friends also ordered the same and the waitresses poured the rum anglaise to their desserts and not mine. They tried my dessert and it tastes exactly the same. The waitress said there’s no rum on mine, but I know for a fact that there is. Instead of her apologizing and asking if I wanted to change it, she wanted to challenge the situation. I ended up just taking the crème brûlée dessert to go, it tasted fine.
The waitress also barely checked in on us, we had to ask for water multiple times instead of them coming to refill our cups.

Met here for Brunch, the ambiance is wonderful. The modern aesthetic of the hotel, the surroundings and the restaurant are spot on. The food was so so. We had the eggs benedict, and the flavors were just OK, and they were served on a toasted biscuit which was VERY heavy and took away from the meal. The service was subpar for a place that is going to charge higher prices. We were finished for a long time before someone else came to clear our plates, and it was much longer for the server to come back to bring a check. While she did have another table the wait was still unacceptable.

We visited Garni during the magical dining event. First time here and was delightful. Our server Erika was very nice and attentive. I went with my 2 kids so we each ordered something different to try everything they had. The portions are huge btw which I was not expecting. I attached a pic of everything we ordered. We had everything on the menu except for devil eggs and the gnocchi. Everything was delicious, fresh, great presentation. I enjoyed it and will be back. The place is nicely decorated very nice quiet vibe.

Magical Dining was a great experience! Kayla was an awesome server, had great recommendations and was attentive. All of the food was great! The restaurant had a great vibe and decor with the pool in view. The hotel in general has a great vibe and decor. Everything we tried tasted great!

The manager Juan has a beautiful welcoming SMILE , is on it taking care of guest and making sure they are having memorable time in the restaurant.

I fell in love with this restaurant at The Wave Hotel in Lake Nona. I can’t wait to go back! The short rib was outstanding, the beet salad was unreal and for dessert: crème brûlée the service was outstanding and I loved the beautiful sunset views as well This is a lovely place
