Garibaldi Mexican Bistro is one of those places that doesn’t look flashy from the outside but serves really good, authentic Mexican food.

Located on South Broadway, it’s easy to miss, but worth stopping in. I ordered the pambazo with chorizo and it was excellent. The bread had the right texture and the filling was flavorful and balanced. It’s easily one of my favorite sandwiches I’ve had recently.

We also tried the blue corn tortilla enchiladas, pastor and asada gorditas, and chips with salsa. Everything was well prepared and tasted fresh.

If you’re looking for solid Mexican food without the fuss, this is a great option. I’m looking forward to going back and trying more of the menu.

Family got food poisoning from eating here.

Blue corn tacos were decent.

Pastor huarache was old and soggy, undercooked and bland.

Tlayuda was the most disgusting thing I ever ate. The tlayuda was old and chewy and tough. The Oaxacan cheese was old. The asiento was borderline rancid, and the refried beans were piled on like piles of manure. I’ve had tlayudas in Oaxaca so I know how this should taste.

Very very very Soild Authentic mexican food. I am very mexican! So i know whats up. The tacos were classic and the churros were perfect crispy on the outside and soft and flavorful on the inside, perfect amount of sugar. And 3 sauces unheard of in the industry. Shout out Ana! Keep an eye out for the Birria!

Secret gem off Broadway. You wouldn’t even know it was there if there wasn’t such stellar reviews. Thank G for reviews! This place was amazing. Very friendly staff, quick service, and legit prices. Went for the Torta w/ carnitas. Spicy, juicy, warm, and fantastic! Could only eat half which is a win so I could eat it twice in one day. Chips and salsa for dine in was a pleasant surprise. Salsa was delicious. Highly recommend this place if you’re anywhere close by!

Fantastic food! The tacos are SO FLAVORFUL. Tender tortillas. The chorizo was super moist & seasoned to perfection. Al pastor = to die for. Even their limes seemed extra sweet! Service was, of course, also great! Super friendly, kind, personable, attentive.
Cannot recommend this place enough.

If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food, this is the best place to go! Don’t let the unassuming restaurant front and location next to the gas station fool you. The decor inside makes for great vibes and complements the Mexico City-inspired food.

The waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and was able to give recommendations.

I was especially impressed by the huarache. Definitely up there with the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. On top of that, the portion could’ve been enough for two meals. Great bang for your buck. Cannot recommend this place enough!

I’ve been to the Gothic Theater for shows over 30 times and never knew about this spot. It’s easy to overlook because it’s part of the gas station, but won’t pass it up ever again. I will be coming back everytime I’m across the street for a show!
I got the Pambazo Torta. It was GREAT! The chips and salsa was some of the best too.
Can’t wait to come back and try other things out

I was very excited to try this place but its alright. I expected the big pizza looking dish to be cut in pieces they said I had to eat it like a taco but its HUGE! and the knife we got wasn’t enough. The pambazo was probably the best thing I had. we will give it one more chance and go from there!

Drove from Aurora because this place was recommended to us. The little restaurant is attached to the gas station, but has its own 4 walls and a very clean bathroom. I ordered the chili soaked torta. It was delicious, but could use some more fresh produce to cut the grease. It looks they handmade their tortilla chips. The salsa was very unique. The carne asada could use more flavor and time on the grill. The chorizo was perfect.
