We are from out of town and had heard great reviews from some of the other people in the area, so we stopped in. They did not disappoint!!! The variety of food is impressive!! The gentleman who was our server was very friendly and shared things to do in the area. Unfortunately, my engine light came on as we were nearing the restaurant, so I called the auto shop in town and they said i could run over and they’d scan it, so I ducked out before the food came intending to return (leaving my family there). They said the gentleman was still super nice and when I didn’t return for a while (ordering parts), they packed my food to go. The even more impressive part – we were unaware that they closed from 2-4 and we walked in at 1:58. They were so gracious about allowing us to stay – we kept saying we could come back, but they encouraged us to stay. My family agreed the food was wonderful – fresh and hot. Even though I had to eat mine after we got back to the campground, the food was still delicious. Can’t recommend this place highly enough – I wish we lived closer; we’d be here all the time!

Great family owned restaurant in the heart of a little city, offers large menu, and very good prices. They are much were really good and I truly enjoyed coming here. Service very friendly and it makes you happy to be in small-town America. I highly recommend their Denver omelette.

We went there For breakfast, 3 of a us received food and it was over 25 minutes before the other (4th) meal was delivered.. We asked about it several times and they couldn’t find the omelet.

First time visiting this restaurant. My breakfast was decent, I had the meat lovers omelet and hash browns. My wife’s breakfast was a train wreck. She ordered over medium eggs and biscuit and gravy. The eggs were barely sunny side up and very slimy and raw. The B&G had no taste and the biscuit was kind of raw and chewy. I would try it again to see if it was just an off day, but the service was not friendly at all. In fact the waitress was fairly rude and sarcastic to us. She was super friendly to the table of regulars that came in after us. But you could tell we obviously were not welcome there. And the Women’s bathroom was very gross. Will never go back to this smelly dump of an old restaurant. Too bad as Lena needs a decent breakfast restaurant.

Garden View restaurant in Lena open til 8 pm. Very clean place, wide variety of menu choices and they don’t charge you extra if you use a debit or credit card! We had breakfast and the food was cooked perfectly. Would highly recommend you try it next time you are in town.
