I really loved this place for a variety of reasons. The vibe is super cool. The seating is plentiful and various kinds. Barista was great. Cold brew slapped! Only negative is the location-Eastwood has become unsafe esp at night. Overheard the barista talking about various businesses, including their own, that have been robbed. SO, go in the day and stay until dusk! Love this place!

Super cozy atmosphere, a modern classic. The quality is top notch in the Syracuse area unparalleled by any of the coffee shops that have been here for ages. The pastries are absolutely brilliant and the breakfast items are amazing. The beans you can buy here are delightful and unique. The staff is friendly and fun. Truly THE Gem of Eastwood and Syracuse.

I’ve been to this place probably like 10 times. Really good stuff, especially the chocolate croissant and the coffee I’ve tried is really good. They have several unsuspecting items like fresh duck eggs and meat sticks. Plus lots of options for whole bean coffees to make at home.

My favorite hangout on my lunch hour!
Amazing variety of beverages and flavor options, never had a bad item. The lattes are my favorite!
Great atmosphere, cozy and aesthetic. All of the baristas are very friendly. Can’t go wrong here!

This place has trendy Gen Z vibes right from the main entrance.
It was cute inside.
The baristas were friendly. One let my friend sample a drink.
I got an iced rose matcha. I appreciate the many different flavor shot options, and it is served ready to drink without having to stir or shake it yourself.
I also had a blueberry muffin.
Both items were just okay.
Parking is not ideal, especially in the winter.

Cracked Bean Roastery is a hidden gem in Syracuse. Ethically sourced, hand-roasted coffee done right, super kind staff, and a perfect date spot – surrounded by walkable bookstores and a record shop. Absolutely worth seeking out. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️ Highly recommended!!

Appealing space with comfortable indoor seating and some outdoor seating. Coffee was good but not great: taste and flavor was weak with single dimensionality.
A wide variety of pastries.
Service was not the friendliest but not mean. Only paper products, no mugs for in house orders. Prices are slightly above average.
Overall a nice spot for a quick coffee or space to hangout and study/work.

I was sadden that this previous occupants of this space had closed. This lovely space within the building that houses the Palace Theatre, in the center of the Eastwood business and office district, seems fitted for a successful small coffee shop. So I was over erjoyed a few years ago when other entrepreneurs ventured to give it a try at serving the Eastwood Community with their specialty coffee house. The business seems to be going strong, having expanded their hours a few months back.
I like the place. It shows that Eastwood is a place where hipsters can hang out. It is also a good stop if you live in Eastwood and are taking advantage of living in a walkable urban neighborhood.

EXCELLENT experience at Cracked Bean. Locally owned, locally roasted coffee will beat chain store coffee any day. Everything was either made on premises or sourced from another local business. Coffees and food were AWESOME. We will definitely be back! Highly recommended!
