After being seated and seeing how nice everything looked we had high expectations. The server was ok and the food was mediocre at best. Shrimp and grits, Mushroom and Swiss, Limoncello stuffed French Toast, The Burger, fried mozzarella, All Meat Omlet and Cheese Bread were ordered. The burgers were ordered medium well and were dry, the shrimp was not fresh smelling or tasting, and the fried mozzarella was on the burnt side. The sweet tea was not very sweet and cold. Sweet tea should be served warm on ice in my opinion. Salads are a joke. The rest was enjoyed. The deserts were good. The best dish ordered was the French Toast! Bathrooms out of paper towels but otherwise clean. The restaurant itself was clean except the floor. We most likely would not go back anytime soon.

We came for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Honestly, I was prepared to not be impressed, but I was wrong! This was an excellent meal. The garlic knots were so amazing! It came served with cloves of roasted garlic. And my husband loved the pizza. I had the portobello sandwich which was delicious and topped with fresh avocado. Service was great. We loved it.

This is genuinely my favorite restaurant I’ve ever been to. The staff is so nice, with great recommendations. Or maybe it’s just because everything on the menu is delicious. Best iced coffee I’ve ever had. Best omelette I’ve ever had. Best breakfast burrito I’ve ever had. Don’t even get me started on the French toast. I’m more sad to leave to go home from vacation because I’ll be 5 hours from this place than bc of the beach. Also it’s sooo cute inside and out. Great atmosphere. I want to eat here everyday of my life.

Words can’t explain how good this was. We had the Grits Bowl with bacon and the Atlantic Roll. Real eggs that are seasoned and not scrambled plain. Homemade bread for the roll. Phenomenal.

Great menu, you’d be hard pressed to find something that doesn’t catch your eye. I had the breakfast burrito minus the tortilla (I added pepper before the picture) and it was great. Sweet tea was good. The restaurant is quaint and clean. I recommend giving it a try!

Superb! As I said to our server, when you can take something as simple as soup and grilled cheese and elevate the flavors to this level, you know you’ve got a talented chef! I look forward to going back to try additional menu items, if I can resist ordering the same.

I was in town for a friend’s wedding a year ago, a group of about 8 of us were looking for a good brunch the morning of the ceremony. We found this place online, little did we know the meal we were about to have would set a new standard for the brunches we’d eat for the rest of our lives. From front to back, this brunch was one of the best meals all of us in the group had ever had. My friends and I still bring it up about once a month and recommend to anyone we know going within a 2 hour radius of Fernandina.

This is a special place, when you taste the food you instantly respect the passion and soul put into creating it. Just an awesome restaurant set in a beautiful older home. So good that we now schedule our beach trips around it.

First visit. Great all around. Service, food & ambiance. Stuff French toast, potatoes, crab cake and grit AND a huge biscuit so big yet still flavorful and moist! Bottomless Mimosas were nice as well. 🙂

This is a cute little place for breakfast in downtown Fernandina… especially if the weather is nice. We love sitting outside enjoying the breeze while sipping coffee and enjoying a satisfying breakfast.

The Hawaiian Omelet was more delicious than I expected and our favorite.

The potatoes had a nice flavor but were a little hard/raw. If they were cut into smaller pieces maybe they would cook through more thoroughly.

Otherwise, this is a place we will have lots of breakfast at in the future.
