The crab less) cakes, the fish(less) and chips… the chicken(less) parm sandwich. MIND BLOWING.
Craig is an awesome guy, and this place is a sanctuary of compassion away from all the zombie crud that ppl somehow think is normal.
I can’t wait to go back.
The view of the ocean, the food, the service, oh and the fluffy peanut butter latte!!!! LOVE THIS PLACE.
The owner is friendly and often visits the tables to check in and engage in small talk.
Great location, beautiful view of the ocean from inside or outside on the patio.
Recommended!
Updating to say I got a chocolate frappe today which was decent. It honestly tasted just like a coffee frappe which I still liked but I would have appreciated more chocolate flavor, and I’d prefer it to be thicker and not so watery. I don’t think I’d get it again for $6.
He gotta be putting some gold in that coffee.
Wouldn’t mind even paying that much if the vibe and aesthetic level set.
The place is clunky, disorganize and dirty to the point that it just turn me off to order anything despite I was hungry.
The owner/manager:
He was way too egoistic and rude that he had just opened a vegan place didn’t know anything about the food/beverages.
They have loads of vegan cakes, cheesecakes, and ice cream as well! I got the S’mores Cheesecake which was amazing. Texture and taste was just like a normal cheesecake.
Really nice & helpful staff and owners. Can’t wait to come back!
Wide variety of classic American beach fast food done vegan at this new store. Still newly opened when I first visited, the staff was learning the point of sale system (taught by the enthusiastic and proud owner). Some indoor seating, lots of space outside on the patio. Limited car parking in back of the store. There’s lots of parking along Quincy Shore Drive and I’m sure the store will be getting a lot of foot traffic.
We tried the crab cakes, fish & chips, and macaroni and cheese. The crab cakes were the clear winner. They were quite flavorful and moist. The french fries and cole slaw side were also excellent. The fish & chips were also very good. The mac and cheese didn’t quite gel as a dish, it was more like pasta with cheese melted on it than pasta with a cheese sauce. For each order the portion size was large.
I’m looking forward to returning and trying the lobster roll and the fried clams. Many of the appetizers also looked worth a return trip – buffalo cauliflower and vegan empanadas for instance.
One negative is the to go containers appeared to be styrofoam. Maybe these could be swapped out for something a little more environmentally friendly?
It’s great to have a very well executed vegan restaurant on Quincy Shore Drive. I’m looking forward to exploring more of the menu in future visits.
