The food was outstanding — fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. Every dish we ordered was cooked to perfection, and you can really tell they take pride in quality and authenticity. Service was prompt without feeling rushed, which made the evening even more enjoyable.
It’s not always easy to find a place that balances great food, lovely ambience, and excellent service, but Garden of India delivered on all three. We left very happy and will definitely be returning. Highly recommended for both special occasions and relaxed family meals.
What really made the place great was Mo. He welcomed us and spoke to us like we were old friends despite it being our first time there. We’re not very adventurous with our food but Mo took the time to find out what sort of things we liked and then gave us some recommendations.
Most of the menu is gluten free and Mo was so knowledgeable about allergies and other dietary requirements, I felt totally safe eating there (sadly this hasn’t been the case with a lot of other restaurants)
We will 100% be back again and look forward to trying different dishes!
But for me the best bit about the experience was, the restaurant was full as expected but the service was on point. Considering how busy it was I was expecting it to be slow or rushed, it was neither. I could see they had many regulars in there but it felt like we were regulars too that’s how were treated. Not just by the owner.
Also the icing of the experience was the music. The whole experience was not what I was expecting. But it was special. We have already booked our next visit. We are taking friends. We are all coming from London.
Thank you guys
He was also very informative about the menu. The food was wonderful the resturant was decorated to a modern taste. The staff were the best part of the night it made our visit very enjoyable as we had had a terrible week in work and just wanted relax and wind down. Thanks alot and im glad im your dads favourite skinhead.
The onion bhaji and the peshwari naan were perfect and I will be craving those for a long time. They were light and full of flavour.
My only criticism is the tandoori king prawns only had 3 prawns in the dish. Not enough to share and really enjoy at the same time, quite expensive. However, the rest of the food was excellent value.
