I recently visited Garden Gourmet Deli hoping for a quick and decent lunch, but unfortunately, my experience was anything but pleasant. When I first walked in, I was impressed by how large the place was. It seemed well laid out, with clear signs indicating where to place your order.
I went to the area marked “Order Here” and stood there for about five minutes. During that time, an employee was having a casual conversation with someone who appeared to be a friend – not a customer placing an order. We even made eye contact, but he never acknowledged me or asked if I needed help. I found it incredibly frustrating to be ignored in favor of a personal conversation, especially when no food was even being ordered.
After waiting too long, I walked over to a different section of the deli that also said “Order Here,” although it appeared to be for a different kind of food. I decided to settle and order something from there. I asked for a salt bagel, which they didn’t have – no problem. I then ordered a spinach wrap with tuna, bacon, lettuce and onion. It took another 5 minutes just to get the employee to take my order, even though I was standing right there and they weren’t helping anyone.
While reading the menu, I noticed the wrap was supposed to come with five items. The person taking my order never mentioned this. That kind of lack of attention to detail was just another disappointing aspect of the visit.
When it came time to pay, no one was at the checkout. At that point, I literally laughed out loud in disbelief at how disorganized and inattentive the entire experience had been. Eventually, the woman responsible for the register showed up and was the only polite and apologetic staff member I encountered. She acknowledged the wait and apologized, which I appreciated.
When I left I tried the food, and sadly, even that was underwhelming. The bacon in the wrap tasted like it had been sitting out all day, and the onions had absolutely no flavor – suggesting the same. It honestly felt like the ingredients had been prepped far too long ago and had lost all freshness.
Overall, the staff (except the woman at the register) seemed indifferent and negligent. Between being ignored, waiting far too long, and eating food that tasted stale, this was a pretty poor experience. I don’t see myself returning anytime soon.

Very nice place and large selection. I was a bit disappointed in the cheeseburger deluxe. Any diner must nail this staple. All bun, no burger. Cheese unmelted. However, on a prior visit, the Ruben was outstanding.

Its a deli so anything can happen. One thing for sure is the prices are never what they say. You get the 12.99$ Special “that’ll be 22$ please..” consistantly I’m having issues with pricing for deli sandwiches where one week its one price another literally the next week while getting the same sandwich special. Honestly trying to give the place the benefit of the doubt. Trying to get lunch from a close by place but end up getting over charged with inconsistant pricing and quality of food from different people behind counter. The last straw was a fly on my italian sandwich while also arguing about the special price. After so many years just have to suck it up and try elsewhere. Parking is alright not the best to get in and out.

Had a turkey bacon, egg, cheddar cheese, and hot sauce on a roll special with coffee; it was tasty..that hot sauce added perfect burst of flavor. If you stop in take a look at all the money trees, they’ve grown beautifully. The business has a smooth operation. Friendly atmosphere.

The girl at the register who she calls herself the manager was extremely rude and unprofessional to me.I bought food from all the stations and noticed the morale was not the same as I remember.When I went up to the register to pay,I asked her if I can ask a question,she said sure I said one thing that was not bad ,but then out of no where the lady at the register started to yell at me in front of other customers. I WAS VERY UPSET AND SHE WAS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL TO ME.NO ONE DESERVES TO BE SPOKEN TO THAT WAY.

The bacon egg and cheese sandwiches were bland and over priced.The coffee was not even luke warm. When we asked to use the restroom they told us that there was no public bathroom – sorry. If you are an eat in and eat at establishment aren’t there regulations requiring restroom facilities for your patrons at the very least. Save your time and money and bypass this location and save yourself money and aggravation.

$14.25 for chicken salad w/lettuce tomato bacon on a croissant. That’s robbery. Can’t even include a side salad or a pickle? I get that prices are up everywhere. But cmon now!!!! This is a $10 sandwich at best.

My company orders breakfast from here at least once a week. It’s a crap shoot, you never know if you’re gonna get the right order. EVER. It’s one of those places where you ask for well done bacon and they give it to you raw with burnt edges or they make something with ketchup and use that same knife to cut your bologna sandwich. We’re officially done with them.

My first time here. I had the honey turkey and mozzarella on a ciabatta! Great service and food tasted fresh and tasty. It’s a very big deli with tons of options. Inside was a salad bar, panini and wrap station, breakfast area and lunch buffet. I took off a star because The only issue it’s pricey. But the sandwich didn’t disappoint.
