We stopped here for a late lunch because there weren’t too many things open and were so impressed! Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. I often judge a restaurant my something simple, like if they put attention and care into a salad. Here, it was the chips and salsa, and they were the best I can remember having at any recent restaurant. They had what I believe was a little avocado tree growing in a pot, which I also found very charming.

What a great restaurant! The restaurant made tortilla chips and salsa was just the start of a great experience to come. I then had the Honduran Baleadas with chicken, something I have never had the chance to try. What an awesome surprise! The meal was all very fresh and clearly homemade. The price was also very reasonable. The homemade hot sauce was also awesome and added a great touch to my meal. I could not have been more satisfied. My better half had the chicken fajitas and had the exact same experience as I did! If you would enjoy authentic Spanish based cuisine, then by all means give them a try! The owners of this place have brought something very special to the area, for which we are very thankful!

I traveled 40+ minutes to try this place out, definitely going to come back! Most “Mexican” restaurants around VT have small tacos and burritos…but not this place! The dishes come with large portions that’ll guarantee to fill you up and taste authentic. They also offer many dishes from Central America and Honduras (different cuisine than Mexico y’all…) so I highly recommend trying something new if you stop by.

The food was SO GOOD!! We tried it today for the first time and we were not disappointed. From the moment the fresh and still warm tortilla chips hit the table, I was sold. The chicken in the taquitos was delicious, I loved the empanadas, and the burritos are huge! Definitely plan on coming back!

Great spot to grab a bite in this cute little town! Whether I’m ordering my favorite Honduran flautas, burrito bowl or chicken salad, I’m always impressed. This family is amazing, and I’m so glad they persevered! Having moved here from LA 7 yrs ago, one of the main things I miss is good, exotic/diverse food choices, and Garcia’s Bistro serves some of the best cuisine I’ve had in VT. And their homemade hot sauce is an exquisite addition to any meal!
