We stayed at the Gates hotel and were extremely happy to find Garbos Grill Two, next door.
Garbos Two is right at the Trolly pickup point in New Town. They have basically a permanent food truck setup with outdoor seating and everything.
We tried a bunch of stuff in the menu and we kept going back for more it was that good. We tried both kinds of shrimp tacos, fish tacos, fish burrito and their key lime pie. Everything was FANTASTIC.
We will definitely be stopping back at Garbos multiple times on our next visit even if we’re not staying next door.

GARBOS grill two. Amazing food. A must stop if you are in key west. The food truck is situated in a parking lot beside the Hilton garden inn. Korean short rib in a taco or burrito is to die for. So good. Also the 1/2 lb burger was delicious. This was the best meal we’ve had and one of the cheapest.

Great quesadilla and amazing integration of mango into the dishes. I had the mango dog and shrimp quesadilla. There was tables and spots to sit however it was a little hot even with umbrellas for shade.

I stumbled upon this place while walking from my hotel to the BBQ place nearby. Google was wrong and the BBQ place wasn’t open so we went back to this one. Lucky for us! Because Garbo’s was DELICIOUS. I got the bang bang tacos and they were amazing. Perfectly cooked and seasoned shrimp, lots of yummy ripe mango, excellent flavors. I bought an umami burger to bring to my husband in the nearby hospital, so by the time he ate it, it was like 20-30 minutes old, and he still said it was really good. I wish I could’ve tried more things there! Oh and the cashier was really friendly and the wait time was minimal. Highly recommended if you are nearby.

My husband used to sell beef all over the U.S. & he wanted a burger …. We stopped in & he had a burger and I had a yum shrimp burrito…. His burger was delicious and my burrito was fabulous and so big I had to bring half of it home!!!! Check it out!!! The food is to die for & the people that work there are super friendly

The Cayo bowl is amazing. It is a bunch of super dense (the bowl was actually heavy!) fresh veges, sautéed mushrooms and onions, and I added fish. The flavors were great and the meal was light and healthy after a few days of eating out but still incredibly filling and nutrient rich.
I was at the point of my trip where I was craving lean protein and veges and this definitely is a winner. I also got key lime pie for dessert and that was great too (the perfect balance between sweet and tart).
