We had an amazing experience at Garage Bar n Grill! The food was absolutely fantastic—starting with the BIG ASS PRETZEL, which definitely lived up to its name. It was huge, soft, perfectly salted, and came out warm and fresh. The Salmon Sandwich was cooked to perfection with great flavor, and the BBQ Mac n Cheese was rich, smoky, and comfort food at its finest.
The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and quick, which really made the meal even better. The atmosphere is another highlight. With an open patio, a full bar, and TVs in every direction, it’s the perfect spot whether you’re there for dinner, drinks, or to catch the game.
Overall, Garage Bar n Grill combines delicious food, great service, and a fun, welcoming environment. Definitely worth the stop if you’re in Vermilion!

First time here. Indoor / outdoor garage style bar with a good selection of food.
Appetizer was a “Big Ass Pretzel” which was definitely that at 1 1/2 pounds. Baked and seasoned perfect with very good beer cheese sauce and honey Dijon mustard. Main entrees were grilled salmon BLT and BBQ pulled pork mac and cheese. Expected average bar food but these guys blew it out of the water. Everything was very good and we will definitely be back.

Place is amazing, great vibes! Was there lastnight sat the Bar , the bartender was great, first time there , she asked if we had been there , said no, she told us her favorites , gave us recommendations. Food was delicious, she was on top of her service! Cant remember her name, feel bad, had a tattooed sleeve, and has a heck of a personality! Need a great place to go and great vibes highly recommended The Garage Bar !!!!

My new favorite hangout! The owners and staff are tremendous! They seem to really care about the customer experience. Food is always good, they have great wings, a salmon BLT which I highly recommend, and gluten-free options like their cauliflower crust Flatbread. The atmosphere is fun and there are plenty of TVs to watch the games. Will be a repeat customer for sure!

We absolutely love the Garage Bar! It’s quickly become our favorite restaurant/bar/hangout in Vermilion. The menu is smaller, leading to everything being good, the beer selection is solid, and the mixed drinks are great. Gab is an excellent bartender, and Bernie and Bob have been lovely every time we’ve spoken to them. Highly recommend!

If you are looking for a hot new spot to hit on your way down rt 6 or when visiting the small lake town of vermilion this is it. We have gone a few times now and its great. Nice patio, good food and good service. It gets busy and is a small place but is worth the wait. Its a new must try for vermilion…..

Where do I start? My husband and I walked up to beautiful live music before entering the establishment. The live music by, Alex Diminish, could entertain all walks of life. Also, the volume made for easy conversation. When we sat down at the bar, we were greeted with a smile. Gab, our AMAZING sever and bartender was informative and attentive regarding nightly specials and events that would be taking place. We order drinks and food, which both arrived in a timely fashion. Two Caprese Smash burgers and a couple of beverages later, we received welcoming introductions from other local patrons. The owners, Bob and Bernie, came over and introduced themselves. Overall, out experience was above and beyond any other we have had. We are so grateful to have found a new, local restaurant/bar to make new friends and experiences in!!
