My Son and I went out for Dinner last night. Our Destination was Hutchins Barbecue in Frisco. When we made it there. There was a line out the door and they were only doing Togo orders and they were out of most of the menu, so we started looking for Alternatives. I Love Seafood and he wanted BBQ. I saw an ad on Instagram for a restaurant in Frisco that was giving 8-10 crab legs for the first 100 people. I couldn’t find it again to save my life
I found a restaurant that offered both. We went to Gao’s BBQ and Crab. When you walk through the door, it feels like you stepped into China. It is Amazingly Beautiful. Cultured and Designed with a Stong Asian atmosphere. The food was Extraordinary‼️
Amazingly, I didn’t Realize until we were leaving, that Gao was the restaurant I was looking for the whole time ♀️

Finally, Gao’s BBQ & Crab has opened a new location in Frisco! I’ve been a fan of their original spot, and this new one near 99 Ranch is just as good.
We tried the $88 Ultimate Seafood & BBQ Combo. It’s perfect for dating! The Seafood Boil was packed with a Snow Crab cluster and a lobster tail—very fresh and flavorful. But the real stars for me were the Wagyu Beef Skewers and the Xinjiang Lamb Skewers. They have that authentic smoky, charcoal-grilled taste that’s hard to find around here.
Also, don’t miss their Cold Noodles (Naengmyeon); it’s the perfect refreshing balance to the spicy BBQ. The vibes are great with the giant screen for games. Definitely our new go-to late-night spot in Frisco!

Such a great chinese bbq place!! I’ve been to this restaurant in multiple locations including Allen, but I think this may be the best one. They serve really fast after ordering, and the taste is perfect—not too salty or bland. If you’re looking for savory bbq to eat with a KTV or a fun atmosphere, this is the place!

This new Chinese bbq skewer spot is fantastic. If you are an adventurous food eater, there’s a lot to try: pork brain, kidneys, feet; the abalone is quite enjoyable; and the classics like wagyu beef are done quite well.
The skewers is staggered at a very reasonable rate. While you eat, karaoke goes on in the background, with the house artist on standby. Of note: make sure you like going to places that are quite loud, the karaoke is very loud and can sometimes overwhelm your conversation, but this is expected at these types of places.
The prices are appropriate, and you feel like you get your moneys worth. The quick service nails the trip home.

Love this place. My go-to spot. The food and seasoning is always amazing. Skewers are phenomenal, best in the DFW area (there’s another location in Allen) and the seafood boils are fantastic.
Service is great. Venus is an absolutely phenomenal server and brings just an extraordinary energy and professionalism to the restaurant. She’s knowledgeable, quick, and hyper attentive. Genuinely great service.
The vibes here are my favorite part, the loud music, high energy atmosphere. Cool decorations, colored lights, beautiful restaurant, great drink options, and a menu with a ton of choices and options. I will never be tired of this place. Will continue to return. Highly recommend. Hope to see this place continue to be successful and lively!

The BBQ looked good but the taste was disappointing. The meat was burn and extremely salty. We ask the staff but they only say sorry. We came because it open at late night but unfortunately, it made the whole meal hard to enjoy.

I’ve been here a couple of times before and it was fine, but today the food was extremely salty. I had to keep drinking water the whole time. When I mentioned it to the staff, they simply said “sorry,” but nothing else was done.
