Gao Sheng isn’t much to look at but has great food options. You could spend more at McDonalds and have less to eat. There is limited seating since it’s mainly takeout but everything I’ve had was hot and fresh! I just wish their chicken or beef dishes had a thicker sauce that’s all.

I really wish more Chinese places had decorative eat in areas. I ordered the Chicken and Snow Pea. The sauce was very yummy and there was a variety of veggies. Very unprofessional! Ordered chicken and broccoli went home and noticed the chicken was not fully cooked. I called them and was very nice to tell them and she told me bring it back so I did. As soon I walked in she went to the register took the money out and slammed it on the counter and said “here is your refund” never once did I ask for a refund nor did she ask me if I wanted my money back or for them to remake it. To be the only Chinese store in Woodstown you would think they would have better business.

This used to be a good place to get food. My family would order once a month, but in the last two years we have not had a positive experience in the four take-out orders we’ve placed.. There was chicken in maybe 4/20 pieces of general tso’s chicken they provided. All four times. It’s just disappointing. I guess it’s easy to cut corners when you’re the only place in town.

Went here to eat , there was a couple seated that had already received there meals served on nice dinnerware… My sister and me decided to order and told the lady we would like to eat in , the lady said ok, however when we were served , she brought us our food in take out containers . So we didn’t say anything we stayed and ate, while doing so a man comes in and he orders in and sits down , shortly the same lady comes out and serves him his food on NICE dinnerware! The white customers got dinnerware and the black customers got foam plates. I politely left a note on the table for the lady to read , so that she can be aware that customers are paying attention. We won’t be spending our money here ever again, but I hope they do better going forward.

I got General tso chicken. It was nasty. Didn’t taste like chicken it tasted like a filler. Suppose to be fried and it tasted like chicken just soaked in sauce. Like four pieces of broccoli. No flavor, no spice. Just nasty. First time there, last time there. Rice was all lumped together. Just the worst meal I had.

Should have known better when I walked in and woman at counter greeted me with “yeah.” Crab rangoons were flat, chewy and over cooked, with only a trace of filling. Shrimp Lo-mein was scarce on shrimp and had zero flavor. Sesame shrimp was pale & under cooked. Pork in fried rice was so hard & crunchy, it was not edible. Will not be returning.
