Food was wonderful! We started with the Quac, Salsa and Queso appetizer. My husband had a rice bowl with steak. I had the Taco Trio with the chicken taco, Baja Shrimp and the Hawaiian. I enjoyed a Skinny Margarita as well. While everything was delicious I was so tempted to buy 2 more Hawaiian tacos to eat later. Food was fresh and fast. If we lived in town this would be a regular stop for us!

We were passing through on a road trip and wanted to try something local…Boca did NOT disappoint! The food was absolutely amazing! We tried the Hilltopper, the Boca Tamales, the Street Corn, and the Boca Burrito. My family can be a little picky and they devoured their food. The salsa has just the right amount of spice with so many layers of flavor. 10/10 would recommend! Thank you for serving amazing food and being so personable.

Nice taco spot in BG but a little on the pricey side for the type of restaurant/cantina but the food is pretty solid. Definitely not a daily lunch spot but worth the try if in the BG area. The portions were good especially on the rice bowl in my opinion it’s the best bang for your buck at $13 while 3 street tacos and a side of corn were $15. The margaritas were 2 for 1 and definitely boozy but flavorful.

Fun, newer place. Great selection of enchiladas and tacos. I’m sure they have more margarita flavors here than anyplace in Warren County. Loved the lamb Barbados and the Carne asada. We’ll be back! If you eat too much, take your churro cheesecake home! UPDATE: stopped for brunch. My group loved the Breakfast Burrito and the Chilaquiles. My out-of-town family wants me to take them here when they return.

The food is not seasoned and bland. It’s a overpriced for a couple items. The chips and queso is $6 for a small 3oz ramekin and a 2oz ramekin of salsa. The salsa tasted like the stuff you buy from the store in the chip isle. El Mazatlan has spoiled me with more generous portions and savory flavors I guess.
The atmosphere is lively and modern. It’s good for young college students or people looking to have drinks and socialize. I don’t think I would go back.

We had a fantastic dinner at Boca Tacos & Tequila!
I ordered the Vette City Burrito with steak—and let me tell you, that burrito is more than a meal, it’s an event. We kicked things off with chips and queso, salsa, and guacamole—each one was fresh, flavorful, and worth ordering.
The menu has been updated since older photos online, and it’s actually easier to read now (a small detail, but it really makes a difference). Service was quick, the atmosphere was fun, and the mix of great food with fast, friendly service sealed the deal.
Highly recommend if you’re in the area and hungry—just be ready to bring your appetite!

I was really looking forward to trying the birria tacos, but they were a major letdown. The first issue was the size: the tacos were comically tiny, practically snack-sized, and immediately brought to mind those undersized, cheap Jack in the Box tacos, but the birria here will cost you almost $5 a taco. They certainly didn’t feel like a good value. More critically, the flavor was severely lacking across the board. The birria meat itself lacked the deep, savory spices you expect, tasting surprisingly flat. The consommé—the essential dipping broth—was weak and watery, adding little to no richness or depth. Even the tortilla was dull. After eating just one, the overwhelming blandness of the entire dish was so pronounced that I simply couldn’t finish the other two. It was a completely underwhelming experience that missed the mark on what great birria should be.

These were not only the most gorgeous nachos I’ve ever eaten. They were also hands down the best nachos I have ever had. Most nachos in my opinion seem to be mostly chips with not enough toppings, but not these. I actually ran out of chips to finish my nachos with. Lol I promise you will not be disappointed. I can’t remember what these Nachos were called. So just make sure you get the one with queso, corn , pico , guacamole, chicken, and chorizo.

3rd visit: enchiladas. Steak, chorizo, and chicken. Uniquely prepared with a cheese enchilada with meat on the top. Very nice. 5 stars.
4.5 stars
2nd visit:
3 taco meal.. had bang bang shrimp, mushroom taco and sweet potato taco. All were flavored well. Corn side was great. Expensive combo comparatively speaking.
1st visit:
Boca Tacos and Tequila restaurant is well laid out inside, and the counter area looks very inviting. The staff was nice for the limited interaction I had. Ordered the 2 tacos and rice and beans and was just enough. Ordered the fish and chorizo tacos. Food was presented beautifully, but I wanted more taste from the fish. Still a good taco overall, and both were of a good size. I will come back to try more options.

Finally made my first visit to Boca for lunch & it won’t be the last. Everything inside is clean and looking fresh as it should for a newer spot. Service was friendly and helpful with our order. The food came out within minutes and you could tell everything was freshly prepared with quality ingredients. My only nitpick is the lack of a combo or at least giving a side of chips with a burrito order. The a la carte style of ordering makes meals here a little pricier than similar-type spots (Baja Burrito in Nashville comes to mind), but portion sizes are solid and flavors were really good. Overall, if I’m craving a burrito & it’s in the budget, Boca will now be my go-to choice in town ✌
