A Memorable Feast at Ganesha Palace

From the moment we stepped into Ganesha Palace, we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for an unforgettable evening. Mukesh, our server, was nothing short of amazing—attentive, kind, and genuinely caring. By the end of the meal, we felt like we were saying goodbye to a long-lost friend.

We began with the samosas, which were perfectly crisp and packed with flavor. The mixed tandoori platter was a carnivore’s dream—lamb sausage, chicken, and shrimp grilled to perfection. The naan was outrageously good, soft and smoky from the tandoor. But the true showstopper? The Tandoori King Prawns. Juicy, bold, and beautifully spiced, they stole the spotlight.

A comforting side of dahl rounded out the meal. Though our bellies were full, we left feeling light, happy, and already dreaming of our next visit.

Highly recommend for anyone seeking soulful Indian cuisine and service that warms the heart.

“Ganesha Palace didn’t just serve food — it served India on a plate.”

I try a nice Indian sounding restaurant every other weekend, and this time I kept it simple: Paneer Tikka Masala, Garlic Naan, and Mango Lassi — the holy trinity to test authenticity.

The paneer was soft, charred right, and soaked in a gravy that tasted like it came straight from Delhi — not diluted, not sweetened for tourists.

The naan? Pillowy, crisped at the edges, and full of real garlic — not just the smell.

And that mango lassi? Thick, not a milkshake, and actually mango — not syrup.

No gimmicks. No fusion nonsense. Just honest, fire-cooked Indian food.

Verdict: Ganesha Palace doesn’t try to impress — it just is authentic. Quietly bold. Underrated. And unforgettable.

Solid 5/5. Coming back with a bigger appetite next time.

After weeks of traveling through Spain and Portugal, we finally had our first Indian meal since June 12—and Ganesha Palace made it unforgettable! The food was delicious: the naan was perfectly fluffy, and both the lamb and chicken curries were rich, flavorful, and cooked to perfection.

What really made the experience special was the warm and attentive service from Mukesh, who made sure we were well taken care of from start to finish. The restaurant itself is spacious and very comfortable—ideal for a relaxed lunch. Plus, the 20% discount for lunch was a lovely bonus.

Highly recommended if you’re craving authentic Indian flavors and genuine.

That was the best experience of Indian food that I ever had. Idk about other restaurants but this was the best so far. We tried vegetarian Curry, chicken curry, sheesh kebab, a lamb dish, something like fried cheese and bread. They were well seasoned. Not too salty. Plated smelt and tasted wonderful. I’d definitely go back there. Prices were very good. One of the staff members was really a gentleman. He opened the door and greeted us before we decide to go in. We asked to confirm if there are vegetarian option first and he assured that there are. There’s a whole page in their menu only for vegetarian meals. Their menu had so many varieties. I would love to try more of their food.

We recently celebrated our Bhoomi Diwali party at Ganesha Palace Restaurant, Lisbon, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! The food was delicious and full of authentic flavour.

A special mention must go to the chicken kebabs, which were succulent, tender, and cooked to perfection, and the gaajar ka halwa, which was melt-in-the-mouth delicious—perfectly warm and sweet. Every other dish we tried was equally delightful.
The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, and though I don’t remember all their names, I truly appreciate their warmth and hospitality throughout the evening.
I’ve already recommended Ganesha Palace to my friends, and my family will definitely be visiting again.
A well-deserved five stars for their amazing food, excellent service, and lovely ambience!
