This was my first time having claypot rice, and in this case it came with eel and Chinese sausage, along with a few vegetables.

This rice was just fantastic. It felt dry – kind of like it got the texture of fried rice, but not undercooked at all. It didn’t feel like it needed any additional water is what I mean. Each grain felt like it had a crispness to it I haven’t quite experienced with any other type of rice. It even had a bit of crunch.
When you get all the way down to the bottom, the rice gets charred – but not burnt – and develops that scorched nature that’s the hallmark of this type of rice. Eating the rice at the bottom of the pot was truly my favorite part.

The proteins I was slightly mixed on. The eel was good, but there wasn’t enough in the pot – just two or three pieces. The Chinese sausage was more plentiful, but it didn’t have much flavor and felt a little hard to chew.
The vegetables were solid though

For the price, it ended up at around $30 for the rice and a beer. It is a solid amount of rice in the pot, but for that, I would’ve preferred more meat.

Overall, it’s a very unique dish where I loved the rice, but everything else was hit or miss. 7.75/10

Underwhelming Chinese food. The concept and ambience were cool but I care mostly about the food in a restaurant and it didn’t deliver. Everything was super super salty and the beef stew was really fatty and lacked the layered taste you’d find in this traditional Cantonese dish.

The fried chicken dish was the only dish that tasted ok.

Will not come back.

Fantastic food! Highly recommend the chow fen and someone from the daily special menu! We got the kimchi bacon fried rice and it was delicious! Lively atmosphere, 21+ only. It was pretty busy and they were understaffed so service could be better but that didn’t take away from the fantastic food.

Always a wonderful time here. Really good karaoke night on thursdays, and you can join even if you suck thru work, they don’t judge. Daily specials Monday thru Sunday and every dish is made with love. A gem of the neighborhood and a blessing to be invited to

Love this little eatery here in the ID. This place has the best Chow Fun noodles. Yes, I said it, the BEST in Chinatown. Also the fried chicken and gravy is really good too. I’ve came here before too, they handmade the wontons, the spicy wontons is very good as well. Come in on the right night, they’ll also have karaoke. This place is also can be very crowded but don’t let it stop you from grabbing a bite and chat and sing with some friendly people.

This place has been on my Seattle bucket list since we moved here earlier this year and I’m so thrilled we finally got to try it. One of the best meals I’ve had, absolutely incredible food. We ordered the chili wonton, orange chicken, kimchi fried rice, and XO rice rolls. I can’t pick a favorite. They were all so good!!!

Super friendly owners/staff and amazing food! The size of the wings was impressive, the calamari seemed unending, the sticky fried rice had an abundance of flavor and ingredients, and the pea vine was really tender! The taste of their aromatic house tea really came through in the mandarin breeze cocktail. Oh, and they also have a dangerously yummy lemon drop shot that is a must try! We’ll be back soon for sure, thank you Gan Bei for making it such a wonderful and memorable experience =)

The food here is great! I like everything I ordered! They have a digital full menu which is not a lot of options but enough for me to choose things I want.

They made the food after ordering so it is fresh and hot, but take a bit of time.

The surroundings there is cozy and friendly, very small place but decorated well.

Great place for after work gatherings. Street parking available around.

It’s a dive bar with great service and amazing food. The flavors reminded me of Singapore. Their xo green beans were straight up delicious. I loved the chow fan. Even the fried chicken was great.
