The food here is always great and the entire staff is always welcoming! The ladies that helped out today were honestly so amazing, especially your new hire Riley! She was so sweet and reminded us of the girl from Inside Out! Thanks again guys! We’ll be back!

All these positive reviews surprise me. This place may have “Gameday” in its name, but they clearly don’t understand sports at all. There are nearly 3 dozen TVs, and they’re all playing the same thing: football. Granted, the night I visited twas wildcard night in the NFL, but there were multiple basketball and hockey games going on too — none of which were being played. When asked to put on the Spurs/Celtics game, the manager indicated he wasn’t even aware what the NBA was, much less having a service to show it. Walked out before ordering; time much better spent at the nearby Taco Mac, which had a much greater variety and fast service. If you’re looking to try something new and entertaining, let me save you the time: this ain’t the place.

Tonight my dad and I decided we were in the mood to try somewhere new and decided that Donovan’s Irish Cobbler sounded good. We will never find out though, because even though the place was nearly empty and we were immediately led to a table, we gave up on waiting for our server to show up after at least 15 minutes.

Thankfully GameDay was just around the corner, not new to either of us, but tried and true.

Our experience tonight was like night and day, and the differences were clear before the lovely young lady opened the door for us, as we could see how packed GameDay was through the windows. We were told that the wait for a table for 2 indoors was going to be 15 minutes. Which I think is a more than understandable wait time for a busy sports bar, NOT a nearly empty pub themed restaurant.

But that was for INDOOR seating, and the patio was completely empty… The fact that it was in the low 40’s miiiight have had something to do with it, but dad is a madman and I was hungry so we requested to be seated outside. The hostess looked understandably dubious, but for the second time tonight we were seated almost immediately.

The ONLY similarity in the two experiences, because despite the fact GameDay was so busy inside and that we were the only ones who chose to brave the cold the entire time we were there, our server Valerie had come out to greet us before we’d even had time to fully settle. Along with a gentleman whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch, as he had only come out to move one of their surprisingly heavy outdoor heaters close to our table for our comfort. He even came back out only a few minutes later because we’d asked Valerie when she dropped off our drinks if it could be moved to the side of the table we were both sitting on. If dad didn’t have mobility issues and half a Coronanita we would have just moved to the other side of the table ourselves, but the gentleman accommodated our request without question.

Valerie is also a real trooper, because at least dad and I had coats on, while her uniform shirt was short-sleeved. A great choice for the hot and hectic work of a server inside, not so good for serving an older customer in 45* weather. But Valerie gamely waited for dad to ramble his way back to actually remembering to order his food, which he will be the first to tell you is more consideration than he garners from me in ANY weather.

My GameDay Bites and mozzarella sticks were delicious, as expected. Unfortunately dad wasn’t QUITE as pleased with his bone-in wings, which were a bit overcooked, but good enough.

Better than all the nothing we would likely still have on our table at Donovan’s had we stayed.

All in all, a good meal made better by comparison. I would like to warn all of the bartenders and servers of GameDay to prepare themselves now, as we WILL be back, and since dad hasn’t bothered to get any new material since the turn of the century, they WILL be forced to hear the same jokes and stories every time.

I’m so sorry.

We love it here. They’re always accommodating and the front patio is just a great place to hang out with friends. Food is good and servers are attentive. Its one of our go-to’s for times where you wanna sit down with a drink and watch a good sporting event.

I absolutely loved the atmosphere. I went to dinner by myself. The staff was super helpful and friendly! I asked the hostest after she set me down what she recommended, she helped me pick out my meal after being seated. My service, who was named Jordan, was very friendly as well. Then the manager himself even came to my table to check on me. They have a very healthy family dynamic of good teamwork and team effort. The food was also excellent! Can’t wait to go back and try more things on their menu and also invite other to enjoy the wonderful food and service that I experienced.

I have been here three times ,brought my family. We all got burgers. My brother-in-law specifically ordered a medium burger ,when they came they were all medium well to well done. french fries and tater tots were great. We told the waitress when she came back to check that they were overcooked and she acknowledged that .we went ahead and ate our food no adjustments on the bill. No, I’m sorry they were overcooked very disappointing as this was the first time my family came here, and I was hoping they would really like it.

Just a down home bar and grill. We could tell there were lots of “regulars” in there. Ash was excellent as our server. They have multiple TVs and a full bar with specialty drinks. Food was decent and affordable. Family atmosphere, for sure. Outside patio seating with TVs as well. Enjoyed the game and the fellowship. Would recommend.
