Amazing place to eat. Our waiter was amazing. Portions are big well worth the money. We went on Valentine’s Day for dinner so the wait was a little long but well worth it.

The food was exceptional, service was fabulous, and the atmosphere was pleasant. The waitress told us they grind their meat there and it made us want to make the trip back sometime soon. Highly recommend making a stop here, drinks were tasty as well.

This steakhouse is amazing. Food prepared to perfection. Service top notch taking care of our every needs, in quite relaxing atmosphere. Very few places deserve five stars, but this steakhouse ranks as one of the best. Prices higher then most places, $$$$, but with quality food and service, worth every penny. Looking forward to return again and again.

Galveston’s has become a favorite of ours, and every time we are in Michigan City, we make sure to eat here! The food portions, the prices, the quality of the food, the service, all exceeds expectations, every single time!

We call a couple days before Valentines Day to see when they open up for Valentines Day and they tell us at 4pm. So we pull up at 3:45 and noticed the lot was full and there was a line but it wasnt too long. Things werent adding up at this point with how many people were in line but the lot was full. So probably 20 people go in by 4:03 and people are walking out because theres a hour and a half wait. Kind of irritating when we show up early and to figure out the restaurant opened up before 4 pm letting people in early. Really wanted to try this place and would of shown up way earlier if that was case…

My first visit to Galveston Steak House was very delicious. The Saganaki (fried Greek Cheese) was melt in your mouth delicious. The 9 grain bread served with meals was perfectly baked with a crispy crust and loaded with seeds of all sorts. The two meats we sampled were the Prime Rib and Rib Eye Steak. Both were tender and full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The rib eye was served with a tasty baked potato and salad. The salad was bland made better by the Chunky Blue Cheese dressing. The atmosphere was Western Saloon and lively. The corner booth by the window in the bar is a very loud location due to the noise bouncing off the walls, so I don’t recommend that table. I will return to try other food options but for now the meat was very good.

Great local Steakhouse with excellent food. Meagan is an outstanding server. She knows the menu. Typical menu items for this type of restaurant. Nothing really out of the ordinary, but all good. Prices are reasonable. Portions are large.

We had a great first-time dining experience here! Our server, Katie, was absolutely excellent. Despite being busy, her service was spot-on—she made sure our drinks were always filled and that we were completely taken care of.
The food was very good across the board. Our table ordered the ribeyes and twice-baked potatoes, and the steaks were a highlight: tender and perfectly cooked exactly as requested.
My only minor disappointment was the side mushrooms; they were a bit “blah.” I was hoping for something elevated, maybe nice and fresh, perhaps sautéed in a wine sauce. However, the quality of the ribeyes and Katie’s top-notch service certainly made this a highly positive experience.

The lime rice soup n salad was OnPoint w/ the bread loaf. The Entrée was huge and the meats were cooked to order. Leave rm for dessert.
