We had a large family meal with 7 people. The Shrimp Putanesca, Salmon fielt, Gorganzola New York Strip, and Fettucine Alfredo we all prepared well. Each person enjoyed their entree. Three of us ordered pizzas individually, and while the edges of the crust we good, the bake on the bottom crust probably needed another 30-45 seconds. Otherwise, delicious, especially the sausage. These pizzas were some of the closest to a true Neopolitan pizza as I have had in the states. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for its food, service, and atmosphere.

Best Italian for hundreds of miles. We always stop here when traveling along I-70. So good we plan our travel time btwn IA and NY to catch a meal. Wife always gets the filet and we always share their Tiramisu. Best we have had. The coffee is very good too.

I was at Galo’s with friends from college. It was a central location for all of us to arrive at. The food was very good and the service was great with friends who wanted to talk more than order. I would recommend Galo’ for lunch. Great food and reasonable prices.

Great spot for Christmas party or date night! Had the company Christmas party at the Richmond location. Due to our size and time of year we had a reservation. Service is top notch. Knowledgeable staff, attentive, and very kind. For as busy as it was that evening, they had things under control like it was half the occupancy.
Portions are on the large side I think. No complaint but I don’t believe I have left without a to-go box yet. I’ve been on a mini mission to try spinach artichoke dips at places that offer it. Galo’s has a lovely version of the dip. It was creamy and cheesy. Spread nicely on the bread provided.
Bottom line, no matter the occasion, Galo’s is the choice for a special night out!

A very pleasant place with plenty of space, making it perfect for a comfortable dining experience. The food is close to perfect, with generous portion sizes. The meat dishes and pizza are especially delicious and stand out on the menu. Highly recommend trying them!

Visited this place for the first time today and WOW!!! Absolutely amazing all the way around! Food was wonderful and authentic, the prices are very reasonable and every staff person was friendly and welcoming! The lobster bisque, salads, pasta and meatballs were just divine and the cheesecake….well just see for yourself! We have now planned to return at least once a month and also bring friends/family! Thank you Galos for a wonderful experience!
