Gallegos Mexican Restaurant was one of the most surprisingly great meals I have had in a long time. The restaurant was not very busy and the menu felt a little Tex-Mex (i.e. less authentic) at first, but once we requested the spicy salsa and tasted it, we knew it was game on. That salsa was incredible, easily a top three salsa I have ever had, perfectly spicy and full of flavor. We had the ground beef chile rellenos and steak guisada. The rellenos were spot on, exactly what you would hope for, but the guisada absolutely stole the show. It was hands down the best guisada I have ever had, period. No other way to describe it. I could not have made it better myself. The sides were solid, rice maybe an 8 out of 10, but everything else was over the top. The ladies working the floor were so attentive and caring, checking in frequently to make sure everything was perfect. They truly cared that we had a great experience. I cannot believe this place does not have a line out the door. Highly recommend and will definitely be back. I hope they keep up what I experienced and more people discover this place.

We had a wonderful meal here. Very authentic and amazing flavors. Some places don’t season their meat enough and everything we had was seasoned perfectly. The rice and beans are really really good. The meat quality of the beef fajitas was great. We would highly recommend this place! Not to mention we had wonderful service.

Service was very good. Food was yum. I judge a Mexican restaurant on their guac…delicious. Ordered Botani ..potatoes weren’t crisp but dish was very good. Kids liked the quesadilla and the tortillas were wonderful. Cheese queso was good. Not a fan of the tomato salsa ..no flavor.

This is becoming one of our favorite Mexican restaurants. We’ve visited three times in the last month, trying different dishes each time. All were very good. Enchiladas are excellent here, and the borracho beans are the best beans I’ve ever had.

Finally got to go and can’t wait to go back. I had the Antojitos plate and my Daughter had the Shrimp Guisado. Also, tried the Quesa Blanco and forgot all about the Salsa especial. Service was top notch!!

Antojito’s plate ($11.99) is a dinner of 4 shredded beef or chicken flautas, and 4 chicken or beef nachos with sour cream and guacamole. Food is always delicious and always served fast, hot and with large portions. (And the price is just right! And the staff members are ALWAYS so pleasant and great at their jobs!! )

We have eaten here 3 times, Beef Enchilada Dinner, Chicken Chile Relleno Dinner, and Chicken Fajita Nachos all excellent and the largest, best margarita ever. May try to eat our way through the menu. Can’t wait to go back!!

DO NOT miss out on Gallegos Mexican Restaurant! The food was delicious and the service was phenomenal. Everything was made in house. Also, ask for the habanero salsa, it is excellent!
