Food is consistently good. Great gyros, love the tzatziki and homemade Greek dressing. Wedding soup is bomb. We have been going there for probably 15 years and those are really the only things we’ve ever tried but they’re always delicious. Maybe one day I’ll branch out more.

I’ve moved away from Pittsburgh and trying to find a good Gyro is hard. I decided to try them the last time I was home and so far they haven’t disappointed me. The flavor is good and they gave me lots of meat. I only gave 4 stars because I don’t love their French fries. They might be better fresh, my order has always been to go.

What happened? This used to be a great spot. undercooked French fries that must have then been under a heat lamp for hours. Gyros were passable, but not for the price. Older lady waitress was being soooo rude to the delivery drivers that were waiting. I got to stop giving this place more chances.
The unedited AI response is the icing on the “we obviously don’t care” cake.

This place has the best gyros! Employees are always so kind and friendly. Love the stuffed grape leaves they are to die for. Definitely coming back for more money well spent about $50 for 3 gyros 2 soups drinks and grape leaves. Can not wait till I make it back.

Got the Special Greek Platter (without tomatoes), every single item on that plate was delicious! The grapeleafs were not super lemony like a lot of the places around town, also not greasy without being dry, probably my fave in Pittsburgh. The spinach pie was an individual pie with nice crispy filo and a very good filling. The fried meatballs were top notch! I don’t know what the meat used was, but very good, especially when dipped in the cucumber sauce. Good hummus with nice pita to dip into it. Lastly some very good Greek olives and a nice slice of feta. Although it was a bit to spend for lunch ($16.00) I left with both my belly and my tastebuds very satisfied. I would come back and I would recommend!

I have been eating at Galis for about 17 years, and the food and service have not changed. The owners are just lovely.
If you want authentic Greek food, this is the place to go. Oh ,and Debbie, the waitress, is the absolute best!!

Never order the platters. You get half the meat of the gyro wrap at almost twice the cost. Just piles of iceberg lettuce. Smh.

Gali’s is a very nice casual Greek restaurant. With a family-owned business atmosphere (that is a compliment), authentic menu (based on the Greek Church Food festivals I’ve attended), and very good service, Gali’s offers a pleasant and pleasing experience.
