Definitely a fun touristy experience of a classic 50’s diner on Route 66! We went in the middle of a snowy afternoon and got fries, cheese fries and sweet treats (shakes, sundaes, cookie and ice cream). The food was good and charming. The only downside was how slow the service was. We waited for long stretches, despite three servers sitting at the counter and no one else in the restaurant, which was frustrating. We were also given menus with different prices from each other, so we weren’t sure what we would be charged. Overall a good experience and I would recommend.

Wanted to experience a “route 66 diner”. The setting is a 50’s diner for sure. Lots of old time stars pics line the walls. We ordered the Philadelphia Freedom omelet with hash browns and fried egg sandwich with diner spuds. The $17 omelet was a huge disappointment. It was supposed to be “thinly sliced prime rib”, American cheese, green peppers, onions & mushrooms. The American cheese turned out to be Kraft singles thrown on top and slices of dry mystery meat inside. It no no sauce or cheese inside to keep it together. Very bland and disappointing. The fried egg sandwich was good and the diner spuds were delicious. Overall, 3 star experience for sure

Reviews are deceiving. “Everything a diner should be…always tasty…absolutely wonderful.” Either the weed in Flagstaff is really good or people need to get out more. The neon sign over the front should’ve been my first clue: broken and nobody cares. One star for my sweet, but clueless server. Zero stars for the ice cream-less milkshake, thawed out/reheated meatloaf, instant potatoes, toasted on one side bread and the something called gravy. If you feel compelled to eat at a historic Route 66 icon go to McDonald’s instead. The food is a lot better and fairly priced.

We tried out the galaxy diner yesterday. It was cute and cozy but needs some repairs and cleaning and staff needs to be trained a little more. I had the Pulled Pork BBQ Sandwich with fries. My husband had the Fish Sandwich with fries. Our son had a Galaxy Burger with fries. We all really enjoyed the food. The fries were tasty and crispy. They have many drink and dessert options. Breakfast is served all day. The menu does not change from breakfast to lunch to dinner. We did have an issue when we first arrived and were seated. There was a young waitress behind the counter standing and talking to a customer for a long time. They were also “popping straws” very loudly right next to our table. I asked our waitress to ask them to stop, and she did ask them, but the waitress behind the counter and her buddy continued another 3 times before her and her friend left together. They were smiling the whole time and didn’t seem to care. I’m a veteran with ptsd and it caused problems for the rest of my night. If it was just me I wouldn’t go back but I’m trying to write from a more non-bias perspective. The majority of the staff seem very young and would rather talk with friends and goof around on their phones instead of helping customers. Our waitress was pretty good or I would have given a lower review for service. They did have live music by a gentleman with a guitar who also sang. He was good. The front door handles were broken and the lights higher on the ceiling look like they haven’t had the bugs cleaned out of them for years. The shiny metal above the long counter had all kinds of hand prints like it was handled by a toddler and left. It’s up near the ceiling so I’m not sure how those prints get up there to begin with but it’s the entire length of the counter. The bathrooms were dirty as well. I hope this is seen by the staff and manager. It seems like a nice place that could be great.

I was surprised! I stopped for brunch at the recommendation of a friend. I selected the Speedy Gonzales breakfast burrito. It was prepared just right with a heaping portion of hash browns on the side.

This is a great little diner. I had the Shroom Burger and it was very tasty. I added onion rings instead of fries.

I’ve been coming here probably 25 years, but it had been since the pandemic that I’d been back. Stopped in on a Tuesday afternoon and there was barely anyone there. Morgan, the server, was very attentive and the chili cheese fries were as I remembered: out quickly, hot, crispy, good chili, fresh onions and sour cream.

Got the meatloaf dinner and half order of onion rings. Both were really good, and the service was fast, my drinks were refilled quickly. Definitely one of the better restaurants in Flagstaff.

Great service! Manager and server were rocking it. Very good food. The soda fountain and floats were awesome. Even had 50’s -70s style live music. 5 stars. Highly recommend. We will def come back.
