We stopped in for lunch at Galaxy Café, and the food was awesome. I had the Zócalo Burger and it was fire —juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. The sweet potato fries were also delicious , perfectly crisp and full of flavor. I’d definitely recommend this spot for anyone craving bowls or burgers because the food really hits the mark.
That being said, I did notice some issues with the service. When we were ordering, there were two young employees (a boy and a girl) talking to each other instead of paying full attention to us. It came across as a little rude, and honestly, it felt like they could have waited until after taking our order to chat. Meanwhile, I noticed another girl working hard—cleaning tables, picking up trash, and staying busy—while the other two just stood around talking.
I always give tips, but at Galaxy Café you order at the counter, get your own drinks, and then they bring the food. After seeing how the work was divided, I regretted tipping at the register because the person who really deserved it was the one hustling to keep the place clean. It’s a bigger workplace issue in general: too often the hardest workers don’t get recognized, while others just skate by. That can lead to high turnover and unhappy customers.
One last note—the water and sodas had a bit of a funny aftertaste. Not a dealbreaker, but worth mentioning. Also, no pets are allowed here. Just a note to pet owners.
Overall, I give Galaxy Café 4 stars. The food is excellent and I absolutely recommend it, but I think management could improve by delegating duties better and making sure customer service is prioritized. With a few adjustments, this would easily be a solid 5-star spot.

The Food is Great. so nice to have a place that has healthy options at a reasonable price that actually stimulate your taste buds. Love their friend chicken on a salad or a sandwich. Whatever your vibe is. Their homemade ranch is bomb too. Friendly accommodating employees. Order at the counter service.

The inside was a little darker than I’d like not the warmest vibe but the food is so good it doesn’t even matter. I usually get takeout, but this was my first time eating in, and my go to dish never disappoints the Grilled Skirt Steak with Chimichurri Sauce (I get it with rice and salad). That sauce is insanely good I could drink it! My husband got the Galaxy Steak Sandwich with chips and queso, and he loved it too.
We’ll definitely keep coming back for the food!

The food and service was great. The food was ready quickly. I had the Brie Burger with a side salad and my mom had the Chicken Tortilla soup. My burger tasted wonderful – the brie went well with the caramelized onions. My salad was good as well. The ranch dressing was amazing! My mom liked her soup, but said it xould have been hotter. It was lukewarm. Aside from that, everything was perfect.

The food was awesome, best gluten-free bun I’ve ever had. It didn’t fall apart at all. The burger was cooked perfectly and the fries were better than most.
Unfortunately, the person taking orders acted like it was a huge inconvenience to take our order. It wasn’t busy. Our order had no modifications. It wasn’t close to closing or opening time. Sorry to interrupt your socializing with the rest of the staff, I guess. Nevertheless, y’all got a 25% tip.

Came for breakfast and had some pancakes and a breakfast sandwich which was all pretty tasty and was served pretty quickly which I was happy about. I also noticed their menu says “fresh squeezed” orange juice which excited me to try. While it was okay OJ it was not by any means fresh squeezed which hurt my confidence in their truth of menu.

We went for breakfast for the first time to Galaxy Cafe and had good experience. What I appreciate so much when time to sit and eat is the presentation of the plate , well let me tell you that Galaxy Cafe works HARD on their food presentation I absolutely LOVED. The buttermilk pancakes were so soft , sponging and delicious, perfect potatoes cooked with peppers and other seasoning super delicious. I didn’t know that my plate was accompanied with seasonal fruits and it was a very good selection, it has grapes, melons and Oranges! They also offer vegan and vegetarian food, the staff was friendly and quick to take your order and deliver it to your table. The place inside looks so clean and it has a beautiful contemporary design. The black coffe is also good and the whole experience in service, food, staff, was perfect!! Definitely going back.
