The staff were very friendly and kind. Food came out hot fresh and delicious. Some fantastic chicken in the greater Cincinnati area. Would definitely come back again. Loved the devil eggs as an appetizer, and the loaded fries were spot on. The homemade pickles were a hit with me as well. Can’t wait to bring the wife.

Visited for valentine’s day and I wish I lived closer! It had been a long time since I enjoyed delicious fried chicken (I have celiac disease). The place was super busy but Gary kept everything under control like a champ! The food was piping hot when it came out and omg I could eat it every day. My husband even loved it and he can eat gluten! Don’t think, just run there and eat some fantastic food!

The fact that this is all gluten free is AMAZING! And you can’t even tell!
Do yourself a favor and try the spice rub on the chicken! $2 and totally worth it!
Pros:
– A Gluten Free Paradise!
– The food is a great portion for the price. As you can see from the pics, the tenders are HUGE! We got 2 4 piece tenders, 2 fries, and fried pickles
– Tenders are huge, delicious, juicy, and crunchy. We got one regular and one with spice rub.
– Fried pickles are perfect!
– Fries are crunchy and yummy!
– All the sauces are delicious! We got the galactic sauce (comes with meal), honey mustard, ranch, and hot sauce
– Pickles & Coleslaw come with the meal, which were both also very good
– The workers are very kind and helpful
– Good amount of seating
– To go order was fast (10 ish mins)
– Pricing is fair
Cons:
Truly no complaints! It might be harder to find a seat inside at peak times, but ordering to go is always an option ☺️

Holy chicken wing! There I was, in Cinci minding my own business, looking for gluten free food. Google brought me to this little gem. Drove the 11 minutes across the water and when I got out of the car I could smell the aroma of heaven in the crisp winter air and in that moment my happy dance commenced. As the door opened I was greeted by a beautiful, bright, warm smile. Not a seat open, as expected. We only waited a moment before a table opened and we were able to order quickly. When the food came out, it was like the world stood still for a brief moment in time. Praise god you could see the seasoning on the chicken. I teared up a little… as the beautiful waitress gave me a moment to be alone with my bird, I thanked god for this food and the man who made it. And his mama, and his mama, and his mama. This chicken was made with love. I have never had gluten free food the way I did today. It’s very hard to eat out with a gluten allergy but not here. I don’t care if I had to wait two hours in the rain I would to have a little piece of heaven in my mouth again. I will be back. Many many times! Thank you for knowing how to season a bird!!! Oh and everything else was amazing too! Best loaded fries ever! And fried pickles!!! Holy wow! Your sauce ties it all together. I think I love you.

I went to visit my son and his girlfriend. I’m from Washington state and we couldn’t wait to try this… I’ll go back for the food alone.. I haven’t had fried chicken in over 10 years and this may be the best fried chicken I’ve ever had!!!! Thank you for being celiac safe. I even brought the sauce home to try to recreate haha

If you’re not looking for fancy, but you are looking for good chicken. Then Galactic Chicken in Dayton, KY, is the place for you. I got the 2 piece dark tray and my husband got the 3 piece tenders meal. I didn’t know what to expect, but let me tell you, YUM! They start with a dry rub, and a dusting of flour, then deep fry the chicken. It was moist, crispy, hot and delicious. They are friendly, and kind. You can carry out or dine in. If you are ever in Dayton, KY and want good fried chicken, I can’t recommend this place more.

We were visiting the Newport aquarium and needed to find somewhere to eat that could accommodate my allergies. I have a gluten/wheat and egg allergy. I haven’t had fried chicken in probably close to 20 years. This was amazing. My husband (who is not gluten free) said it was really good as well. We each got the three piece tender tray. I did not get the slaw (because of the mayo), but got fries. My husband said the slaw was good, had a bit of a Cajun seasoning. He also got an order of deviled eggs and said they were good as well. The next time we are in the area, I will definitely be back!

Absolutely incredible!!!!! My mom was visiting us from Washington State for the first time and has Celiac disease for over a decade…. She said it was to die for and that she hasn’t been able to have good fried chicken since before she was diagnosed. Thank you guys for making this experience possible!

A must try if you like crispy fried chicken! The fried pickles were pretty amazing too. It was great to take my Aunt to lunch and hear stories about how she would sneak in with her lunch money to have a bowl of tomato soup or a coney!

First time visit and was not disappointed. As the name implies, this is a chicken menu with a variety of sides. Nothing too fancy, just good tasting food. Tenders, breast, wings, and drumsticks on the menu. This is a hands-on experience to eating your chicken so be prepared to dig in and get a little messy. The chicken breast and wing I had was hot, moist and flavorful, but definitely not greasy. The skin had just the right amount of crunch. The menu pricing is reasonable. Pepsi products and a limited selection of alcohol.
There is dine-in availability, just not a lot of space. I’d say about 10 tables for 4 people/table. Also limited counter seats. Depending upon the time of day and the number of people in your party you may have to wait. There is an outdoor patio with some limited picnic table seating that looks to be open in good weather (we visited in December, and the area was closed.) So grab a seat when you come in and then go up and order at the counter. Galactic does a lot of carryout and on-line order/pickup. While ordering at the counter is rather easy, food prep does compete with all of the orders that come in. And with the chicken fried as ordered there is a little bit of a wait to get your food, though I didn’t think it was unreasonable. The server did apologize for the wait, but considering how Galactic works it was not a bad wait. Just plan accordingly if you are dining in and have post dinner plans. The staff at Galactic were friendly to us and seemed to acknowledge all customers entering and leaving.
There is a public parking lot a block away from Galactic and some street parking. Unless it’s really busy you should be able to park nearby. Just a good fit to the neighborhood and a neat little vibe to this restaurant.
